Not sure, but i'm not unhappy with it.

Just watched his interview.
He is an interesting character to say the least.
I think i like him.
Though time will tell how this pans out.It will be interesting to see how seasoned pros (like Scott McDonald,Paul Quinn,Tam Scobbie,Willo Flood and Fraser Fyvie) react to him.He seems to be a 'very hands on Manager' particulary on the training ground.
My gut is telling me we are gonna like him though.Think it's gonna be an interesting ride with Mr Laszlo in charge lets put it that way.
Feck, I'd forgotten about Paul quinn

If the tannoy guy doesn't play this at the weekend, he should be sacked

This song should never be played.
I managed to watch that hopeless clown yesterday during the presser and I know he seldom gets things right but he called him shabo or something but it wasn't shabba.

I'd be ok with that song being played if we won a huge cup match at Tannadice (Dundee,Celtic,Sevco,Aberdeen etc).If it was played at full time I think it would be received in the correct way by a bouyant support as a song of praise for our Gaffer.
But let's keep our powder dry till the man has actually achieved something (anything) for us first.
Just my tuppence worth.

Initially, I was neither up nor down about shabba...i couldn't really remember how hearts played with him.... however, I'm a wee bit concerned that the players will not respond well to the way he is doing things.
Guess Saturday will be a good indicator to see whether they are up for the fight or not but pray he doesn't do a mixu

Mind tell us if you get that 'good indicator' on Saturday, so I know what to do at the Bookies for Sunday.....

I see Csaba has banned the players day off on a Wednesday.
Not sure how i feel about that.

How the players feel about it is the important thing, and how they respond to it even more so. Could go either way, I'm sure if they respond correctly they'll get their day off back quick enough, if it goes the other way then it shows we have too many shite attitudes in the squad.

That's why i'm not sure how i feel about it.
When Mixu came in and cracked the whip almost immediately it bit him and us on the arse imo.
We shall see i guess.

Csaba seems to be doing it in a less confrontational manner than Mixu did, at least I think he is.

Players will want to impress him to be first pick every week. He seems to be pushing them which is good to see.

The difference being that we don't have a team full of Gunnings, Taggarts and Donaldsons this time around, you'd think guys like Scobbie and McDonald and Flood will see that this is for the benefit of the team and that spreads through the rest of the team.

The players have shown they CAN fight for each other in the last matches. If they don't show fight for the new manager I won't be turning on him. I will be going ape shit at the players before the manager.
They should be fighting for us and all associated with Dundee United every time they pull on the Tangerine shirt whether they like the manager or tactics or not.
No excuse not to fight for eachother or the club.
If we let player power turn that on it's head the game's fucked for me.
Let's get behind eachother all round.

big crossroads for Fraser. He could be our player of season or boo boy. He is still a bit of a young daft lad in interviews i suppose but interested to see how he progresses under shabba
Big crossroards for the lot O' them!
Fraser will have an effect on more than just his own future. He has the ability to enhance other players images when he's on the pitch.
That's part of the reason he get's grief. The difference between playing well and with heart and dropping out or being average effects us more than maist.

It easy to say they should be fighting for us etc but in reality, it's just a job to the majority of the players. If I was at my work and the manager said yer shite, so you are working Saturday for free, I'd be looking for a different employer.
A good or a bad manager can have a massive effect on the productivity of an employee. Some people need an arm round them and some need battered with a stick to get the best out them. I really hope shabba has a balance in there and the players respond

What if you're manager said 'I really see this company going places and I want you to be at the centre of it. To do this I need you all on board and it will mean extra work but I believe we can all do it and when we get there the rewards will be great'

You're both right tbh.
It completely depends on how the Manager puts it.
I am hoping Csaba has put it more like EHA's analogy than Tangy's.

I hope I'm right as well TEK, haven't really commented on the appointment this far but must admit I'm more than a little anxious.
I'm hoping that's been his approach but tangy could easily be correct as well with his version!

I've no idea and hope it's not the way I put. We need the team/manager and fans all pulling in the same direction to get us out of this league.
We really don't know, so it's all speculation, I guess. I hope he has them motivated, fit and raring to go.
Out of interest.... do you think the extra training is physical or tactical? Or both
