No idea tbh, but I'd prob play him anyway the way Robsons played last couple of weeks.

Re: Dumbarton V's Dundee United - 28/10/17

Im now going to miss this as had to come away to work this morning.
Never been so happy at missing a game in my life.

Line up needs a fucking goor shuffle and who ever plays needs to get it right.

Lewis
Murdoch Durnan Quinn Scobbie
                 Fyvie
     Fraser            Stanton
King                       McMullan
            McDonald

4-3-3... win the midfield battle which we don’t often do!
Telling Fyvie ti sit and dictate the pace oh the match and let the others go forward.
Play Fraser Central wi 2 in there we um and let um shine.
Need a big gem fae the 2 wide lads!! Eh was tempted ti go wi Keatings ahead of King or McMullan but Keatings hus been just as 5h!te as the other 2 and isni a winger.
Quinn in fir Edge who’s been p!ss poor.
Robson just no good enough, Scobbie mare solid.

Keep Stanton away from the starting X11, he was rank rotten last week, no fight.

There seems to be a bit of support for Allardice at CH He is too slow to play there. He is neat and tidy when in possession but not what we need at the moment. Bring back Quinn and Scobbie both vocal and aggressive. Drop Mcmullan as well shocking against Ict.

granted Durnan Edge & Quinn are lacking a bit of pace but still not as slow as Allardice plus the three i mentioned are all better in the air the tackle and have the benefit of experience. Imo if Allardice makes sny sort of career it will not be in defence

I think I would try him infront of a back 4 (or even back 3).

Allardice has the potential at CH imo but needs more time ( tackling, positioning etc) and playing him there on Saturday might set back his development - too soon and too much at stake

Me too. For the life of me I can't pick a team to play Dumbarton and we're meant to have a better/superior squad than last year. What I am certain about is that we dont have 2 central defenders who are good enough to play as a pair and I would play a 3rd CB in front of whoever gets the gig with the sole aim of protection the back 4 and in that position, Allardice fits the bill for me. I don't see him as being too slow. I see most fans happy to punt Edje whereas he's one of the 2 starters for me. Durnan is reverting back to bombscare status and the defence will continue to leak goals if he doesn't sort out his discipline/concentrations issues. As for the rest of the team McDonald for me is the only certain starter and its eenie meanie minnie mo (technical term) for the rest.

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Before his injury Matty Smith was playing really well, apart from N'Koyi we have no height/power up top. We going to continue playing long balls and crosses into a guy that's 5"6?
