I looked up our home record half an hour ago & posted on Mad that since Apr 24 2016 when we lost 3-1 at home to Hamilton in the first game of the Prem split we've lost just once in the next 34 games which was on March 10, 2017, 0-1 to Hibs.
If somebody wants to do the away record...

No sure how these stattos find this shit but a quick look on dufc archive says this I think Billy...

League matches including playoffs-

Home - Won   - 15
            - Draw  - 9
            - Lost    - 1

Away - Won    - 8
           - Draw   - 7
           - Lost     - 11

Since start of 2016-17 to the present, this is Raymond's Championship record.

H                                          A
W14   D7  L1                       W6   D7  L10

(not including the play-offs)

So we are better at home than we are away.  probably the case in every season since 1909.

Do you think our away form is good enough to win us the league?

Think the arguement might be that we are expected to win more away games in a league like this and with a need to get back up.

probably not although its difficult to say with that with any certainty. The league is full of poor teams. In fact the league is full of terrible teams. RM knows he needs to win the league or he will be punted. For me its still 50/50. A crap team is going to win this league thats why ive not given up hope.

We are exactly where we were this time a year ago.

4th.

We are where we deserve to be.

The form isn't good enough and I include the home form in that. Drawn too many games.

I would agree that we are where we deserve to be. IMO we have a better squad than last season and the league is weaker this year without Hibs. It can still be done.  Its better to have a shit manager with good players than a good manager with shit players

Perhaps true: but why handicap ourselves with a poor manager?

We should have a good manager with good players.

Re: Home Stats vs Away Stats 2016-17 Season to present day

When you look at how teams have performed over the last few seasons in this league, points totals, win rates versus drawn and lost etc. getting up is tough as we know and more likely through the playoffs on our longterm form.

Improvement has to happen fast but that's fkn obvious, we all know that.

Even on last seasons form we were only 1 good performance away from going up on the other hand. Our points total was pish though and compares badly with previous promotion chasers.

Do we just need to turn a couple of draws to wins and losses to draws?

Do we need to spend and gamble in January?

Can we afford financially to punt RMcK?

Would the money be better spent on players?

Do the previous final league tables even correlate to our current predicament and competitors?

Not sure about that - we have now had 3 sh** managers in succession and have gone from top 6 to remaining in championship. I would prefer the top manager who got the best out of limited resources than a duffer who under-utilised better ones

Its like the other false saying that a win or 3 points is more important than  a good performance. It may be for one game (e.g. a cup final) or over a very short term but over the longer term of a league campaign, good performances will produce better results. We know that only too well from last season.

Re: Home Stats vs Away Stats 2016-17 Season to present day

I'm not defending RM here but I keep hearing we have good players, better squad than last year etc. I even thought it myself, but do we really have good players?

I watched on Saturday a player  tripping over a football, I watched players unable to pass 5 yards to a teammate in space, I watched defenders unable to match a run or win a tackle, I watched 2 wingers constantly hide and then run into the 1st defender to come near them if they did get the ball, I watched players unable to make space when we had throw ins, I watched too many players not interested in any sort of physical challenge and some who deliberately avoided anything resembling a 50/50, Good players?  I'm not so sure.

Ray has had his chance, it's not working that's clear, but I believe the players are getting an easy ride from supporters just now, if they really were good players none of the above would happen no matter what the tactical or motivational failings of the manager.

The team is full oh bottle bags. There is no solid enough players. Naecunt sticks up for the team mates etc

We dont have cash to spend in jan on players.. would you trust them to sugn anyone else? On what ive witnessed i wouldnt.
No money to punt the nanagenent team it would need to be a another loan to do this unless they walk.

Re: Home Stats vs Away Stats 2016-17 Season to present day

We dont have what could be classed as good players. That does not mean we wiĺl not win the league as the overall standard in this league is abysmal.  The lack of aggression in the team is the major issue. We have a couple of players Mcdonald and Fyfie that can help us win the league but will they get any help from our " ball winners". This could still go either way.
