Utd v Crusaders.
Utd getting more home cup ties than SEVCO these days.
Saw Crusaders on Saturday, at least 70 mins till left for Tannadice.
They eventually got on top of a plucky Cove Rangers side, Crusaders were similar I suppose to the Linfield side I saw later. Left at 2-0 and they got a third.
Poor old fellow pegged it first half, heart attack, 73-y-o Crusaders fan. Players went off for 10 mins whilst they were trying to revive them & getting him into the ambulance.

Crusaders have been getting some good results this season.Noticed they beat Linfield 2-1 a month ago and also played in the Europa League qualifiers earlier in the season (they drew 3-3 on aggregate with the Latvian Champions but got knocked out on away goals).
Be another good test for our youngsters.

He plays for another team..
However our own player taylor also madr the team of the week which is or should be more of an interest.
Having seen Crusaders on Saturday I doubt our under 20s could beat them.
I think we've got a free week after we play them so is it ok if we play two or three of our stars?
I'd keep Ritchie, Allardice, Taylor, Smith, Chalmers, N'Koyi & Mehmet of course and play 4 first teamers.

Risky as it is playing our stars as you put it I hope we do have a stronger team out for the same reason plus kind of protecting the confidence of the young lads that was built on Saturday with that maybe unlikely win against the most successful team in world football still in existance.
Might also help to keep our better players match fit and on it that need it and boost the crowd if it's known we are playing to win.
Bad loss could undo the developing players confidence they gained last round.
Hope it's not chosen as the live match. Do we get extra cash fae Alba for live matches?
