With the exception of Mehmet or Deniz or whatever you call him I'd give everyone two more stars for merit for their 2nd half performances compared to 1st half performances. Coz Deniz was 8/10 in both halves.
2nd half -
Deniz - 8
Ritchie - 8
Murdoch - 8
Allardice - 8
Hornby - 7
Smith - 7
Thomas - 7
Stanton - 8
Taylor - 9
Piggott - 7
N'Koyi - 8
Chalmers - 10 for 10 minutes
Dailly - 7

But in the end I felt we deserved it tbh.
Last 20 only one team was winning that.

What, in your opinion, did N'Koyi do to warrant an 8?

AVery mixed performance yesterday. Deniz, Allardice, Murdoch, Stanton Showed they are 1st team material. Smith, Taylor, Nkoy & Chalmers could make the subbies bench. Ritchie,Hornby, Thomas& Piggot Are just not good enough.

Linfield looked a no bad team. By the 80th minute tho, they looked a bit knackered and for the last 10 mins, oor younger lads defo had the advantage oe them. As predicted, only took them a couple oe minutes inta the gehm when they started their political sing-along.
Noticed a cheenge in the gehm when Chalmers and Daiily came on.
Taylor shows some great abilty, Thomas tae.
When I 1st saw Chalmers against Blue Brazil in July, knew he had sonething. Attempt deflected no long before his goal, and what aboot Logans Run. Great finish fae the laddie. Gonna go far.

Why did the referee give the game an extra 4 minutes? There didn't seem that much delay. Mind you, I'm glad he did due to the timing of our goal.......
My final thoughts: the crowd was an embarrassment, so few in number. And I was disappointed that BBC Alba packed their gear and disappeared without a word to anyone, managers or players.

I’d ask the same question aboot Stanton as well, he done absolutely nuhin oh note, if he expects ti be in oor first 11 he’s a long way fay it IMO, was poor in a gem where he should be driving the younger players on an being oor main player.

See yer point m8. My father was 9 year in the Army, including 6 year in Army Intelligence on the East German border. My grandfather was away for no less than 7 year in WW2 - he was an Engineer in the Royal Engineers, and got posted into the then newly formed UXB division, spending nearly 2 year in Glesga diffusing German bombs.
Now please see mine. Linfield were the ones who introduced the politics into the ground in the 3rd minute, with their rendition of Rule Britannia. Whereby it was booed by a large part of our supporters.
Like it or not, dinna mind admitting I'm no royalist, and I've always believed in an Independant Scotland. So my affiliation to all things British is less than many. Always reluctant to come on here discussing politics per se - Tek knows this - we've conversed about it on occasion.
It was them who introduced it into the game - no us, and definitely no me, so I'm just stating my opposition to it, and like it or not, the majority of the crowd yesterday. I think it says a lot more about them than it does about me.

I hear you, Billy, but that is no excuse for disrespecting the flag. Like you I try not to talk politics here, and Tek is aware of that, but there are times when I feel I have to speak out. But you didn't condemn their politics, but insulted (though I believe not intentionally ) the memory of countless of our fellow countrymen.

The rights or wrongs of why my mates died are irrelevant. The fact is they did, and don't deserve to be scorned by folk like you.

Leedsy, this is a futba forum and i'm used to opinions being from a futba point of view mate, that's what we are proud to be about and resultantly keen to rip the shite out of either side of the nonsencical cunts that argue about wars, battles & politics.
Mind we were formed as a catholic team and changed oor name to get away fae one sided religious and govermental politics and now play in orange/tangerine. We are a Scottish futba team proud of our ways.
The insult to me is that these fuckwits sing at us and display their colours and flags in a goading fashion in an attempt to wind us up. The response is to tell them to shove it all up their bigotted arses.
The majority of us lost family albeit mainly distant fighting in wars, mine is small as a result but I will never take the side of these morally septic cunts over fellow Arabs.
These pricks want to believe we are the opposite to them, Dundee Hibs & think Celtic is oor preferred team. The whole caper is below us and fuck all to do with us!
Yer up the wrang driel mate. Calm yer pants.

If I had my way Leedsy there wouldna be a British flag. My Granda never mentioned fighting for a flag, but he was proud to fight for his country..
Look Leedsy, I dinnae hae any problem we the UK in sports, ie. the Olympics etc. But singing God Save etc. at a Scottish futba ground is nonsense - admittedly it wasna all of them singing it - but I didna hear any Scotland supporters sing the Russian national anthem during the Lithuania game, efter ah, Lithuania was occupied by the Soviets for 47 years.

I mind a pal digging me up about wearing a poppy. Explained it is about war dead. This was at a United game.
Later I wondered why I was bothering talking about something as upsetting as dead folk at a football game.
And here we are again.
Don't let thick cunts like the Linfield fans who were at the drunken wind up a) trivialise war dead and b) draw us into wasting time falling out with each other on Tek's forum.
