The edge

Anybody else think he is playing through the pain barrier for us? Looked like he was grimmacing  every time he slowed down.

Sooner Quinn is back the better.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: The edge

Dunno but he played a part in both goals on Saturday. His passes lead to both goals - watch the highlights.

I like edge - just don't want anybody playing through an injury. It's not going to make an injury better - only worse

Perhaps, yet we've conceded only 7 goals this season.

Re: The edge

No-one has given the boy Forbes any credit. I thought the free-kick he played in was an absolute peach and appeared to dip at the last second perfectly for the boy to get his head on. I actually thought Edge played ok on Saturday, and whenever he plays, Durnan seems to play much better.

Re: The edge

The Edge was superb on Saturday with the exception of the goal, won everything and as previously mentioned played his part in the build up of the goal.

Re: The edge

The Edje is ok and probably better off in the C'ship than the Prem but he's no Fojut.
Meanwhile Durnan deserves a lot of credit for the steady improvement in his game.
Hope Quinn's ok, did I read he's still in hospital?
Staying on the theme of CD's Calum Morris will be up against us on Saturday.
And Col Donaldson is holding down a starting berth at ICT.
Take what you want out of that.

Re: The edge

Always thought Morris was decent when fit. As for Donaldson? Already seen more than once from ICT fans on social media ripping into him. There is potential in the laddie, but he will never realise it until he starts taking the game seriously. IMO.

Re: The edge

I like the Edge except when he holds on to attackers wrestling style. Morris was a decent player when fit. Donaldson won't make it IMHO.

Re: The edge

On the news tonight apparently "we are down to the bare bones in defence", if Edge is playing with an injury, surely we can get an emergency loan like St.Mirren at the weekend,McCart  from the green scum till December.

I think that's everyone's pet hate with Edge!

Re: The edge

Edge is okay till the ball is up in the air......he can't get off the ground and to compensate tries the Jackie Pallo moves on the nearest opposition player.

Fortunately Durnan appears to be up for covering for him when he can.

Should have dealt with ball in at goal on Saturday imo.

Re: The edge

He needs a resurgance, drop the bad habit and prove himself all over again. After he got the contract extension he seems to have stayed still or gone back the way. Being experienced and passing on experience chat is fine but Durnan might be patronised at this current point by that waffle.

Needs to speed up a bit too. Maybe injured though as said by some.

Quite impressed with his link up play on Saturday and doesnae fuck about when the ball needs put safe. Still like him but hope he can change some habits and prove himself all over again.

Due a goal?

Re: The edge

If he is due a goal then Durnan is well overdue.
