Kinda related I suppose - isn't it a bit mad that teams used to send their first teams to the Tennents Sixes?
In 1987 we played all our first teams players at it just a few weeks before we played Barca. Could never happen now.

I used to see Marc McCallum every Wednesday playing 5's at Lochside Leisure Centre in Forfar with his mates when he was with Utd and even when he was with on loan to Livingston playing regularly.

Always felt it was quite competitive. Like I say, first team players involved for all the teams.
Always remember we were piss poor most years. Here was are pumping Motherwell though:

They had a version down in England too with all 1st team players involved:
I believe deadco played in the English tourney one year.
Would love to see it come back one day but just can't see it!
