Was speaking to an old buddy about this team the day. In Sept '94 we played them in 2 legs of the Cup Winners Cup. 1st Leg at Tanny we beat them 3-2 and the 2nd leg in Slovakia we lost 3-1. I was only at the Home Leg, but he was at the away Leg in Slovakia.
He was talking about his flight to Bratislava. After the plane landed, when the plane was taxi-ing to the terminal building. Some supporters opened 1 of the doors on the plane. 3 of them he said, all got arrested at the airport. Said it was in the papers, on the News, TV etc.
Personally canna mind aboot this (wasna on the flight or at the game). Canna remember this happening. Dinna like mysteries when it comes to United. Does anybody have any memory of this.

One sided report.
If they interviewed anyone saying the craik was brilliant they would'nt report it. Some twat saying he heard swearing & obsenities is reported.
Fair enough, doing an Eamonn Eamonn Eamonn Eamonn Bannon doon the wing literally was taking the song too far but i'd have loved to have been on that flight.

Can't remember anything about this. I do remember Alan Main flogging two horrendous goals in the away tie and that he got punted a few weeks later.
