The final match of Round 1 witnessed victory registered for Dundee rockers The View by virtue of winning the toss of a coin.They will now progress to the next Round as a consequence of said victory.Joining them in Round 2 also (albeit unseeded) will be Bellshill's Teenage Fanclub who finished runner-up after losing the aforementioned coin toss.Eliminated at the first hurdle are Belle and Sebastian and The Waterboys.The latter failing to get a solitary vote.

I don't just pick bands i like.I compile the lists based on a few things.

Disagree about Fiction Factory though.They have at least one really good album.
