The 5th match of Round 1 witnessed victory registered for Dunfermline's Big Country.As a consequence of said victory they will now progress to the next Round as a seed.Joining them in the next Round also (albeit unseeded) will be Motherwell's The Delgados who finished runner-up.Eliminated at the first hurdle are The Skids and 80's synth pop act Fiction Factory.
