Anyone else think he was utter shite today. Let the boy deacon run on the outside every time today and thankfully we weren't punished due to his ability at crossing. Ray should have seen this and brought someone across to help him or dropped king back. Both full back positions worry me going into this campaign

Extremely harsh to say the least

Disagree. Thought he was calm and assured back there. Deacon had the legs on him but other than the one he chested past Scobbie in the 2nd half, didn't get PROPERLY in behind Tam once.
Scobbies no andy Robertson but I'm happy with him for this season. Won't come up against many faster/stronger RMs this season. Good job Deacon's final ball is honking

They sent everything down their right for the whole match and he did fine i thought.

Disappointed with Scobbie. Was skinned every time but thankfully Edje (my MoM) was on hand to bale him out otherwise we might have been 2 or 3 down at half time. Suspect Dee's will see him as a weak link and go for him in next match. Offered very little going forwards apart from poor crossing. Robson and Dixon would have been slated for that level of performance. He maybe captain but will have to up his game quite a bit to stay in the side..

Deacon skinned him quite a few times, lucky for us that he couldnae cross a giro. Think Scobbie would do a great job at center half though, as has been mentioned - drop Edge maybe and give Robson another chance?

I thought Scobbie did alright.
The boy Deacon looked a real handful and he is tge player we need to closely mark in the next Derby.
Thought Durnan and Edge were very good at CH btw.
Toshney the only weak link for me.

Most people were saying Toshney was OK and Durnan's and Edge cost us the goal.

Have to disagree Tek - thought Toshney did ok - cant recall any hideous errors.
Scobie I thought did well defensively in difficult circumstances - was piss poor going forward though

Thought Tosh was generally ok but his failure to close down Allan properly allowed Allan to find O'Hara & cost us the goal. Similarly, thought Fraser was awful but his clever pass opened up the Dundee defence when we scored.

Fraser was at fault for the Dundee goal, leaving Allan unmarked. Toshney then late getting over but for both our centre halfs to be giving 3yarda to the centre forward in the penalty box was criminal.

You could argue Fraser should have been running back with Allan as Toshney for whatever reason was out of position and had to run out to the edge of the box. You're right he could have got closer on Allan though.

Scobbie won't be up against many opponents as fast in the Championship, but he was exposed for pace.
Toshney was poor- he toiled against a slow Allan, showed poor distribution, and was marking the Dundee player who hit the post late on. Not very well right enough.
