The issue is related to this daft early start to the domestic competitive season.
Clubs should have resisted the restructure, imo.

Bang-on for me that Annan.
We will continue to struggle to beat the likes of Dumbarton and Raith if we don't make at least another 5 or 6 good signings.
Our first XI seriously lacks quality and strength in depth.
And we are still in the ludicrous situation where we have NOTHING and no-one to call on from the bench.
I am sick of hearing about McKinnon taking his time and having a limited budget etc.
No other team in this Division comes close to us in any capacity. We have 4,000 season ticket holders the next nearest team will probably be Falkirk or St.Mirren with roughly a quarter of that.
We should be adequately placed to not only have the biggest squad in the division but also hit the ground running this year.
I get the suspicion we won't.
Hope I'm wrong.
I know we have the biggest season ticket fan base in the league which should allow us better wages or similar wages for a larger squad, but you have to remember that we will also have a significantly bigger debt that we have to service/pay off due to the mismanagement of the club that other teams won't have.
I'm not confident about next year due to the lack of signings, due Ray's tactics (based on what we saw last year) and his insistence to shoehorn Toshney into the squad regardless of how badly he's playing.
