TBF to Bowman, he did sort of fall into the gig due to the Stevie Campbell fiasco, and the club has taken the cheap option as per.
wondering how much input Shabba will have, or is he just focused on the 1st team shambles

Sadly no. Not long in from work after 2 weeks off sick mate and am knackered. Only seen we were playing about 30 mins ago. Plus its fucking freezing outside. Pity, if it was a 7pm start I'd probably have went.

2-0 down at ht, it appears.

3 goals in seven minutes makes it 3-2 United U20s.

"Number 16" got the winner.
You been looking at the CFC Academy posts?
Oh to see this written about the first team:
" FULL-TIME. Dundee United grab a third goal at the death to secure a 3-2 win over Celtic "

No surprise at all.
Pity though cos would have been a chance to assess the 2 french boys.

Won 4-1 v Killie earlier today.
Logan Chalmers scored a hat-trick and Idris Kadded grabbed the other.

Updated table.
2 questions...
1)If Utd finish bottom do they get 'relegated' into a different Development League?
2)Why have Celtic played only half the matches of all others?

There's no relegation, I think, but three Championship clubs are there this season, a reduction of two, from the last three seasons, which all had 17 clubs in the competition. It seems a wee bit random as to how teams get in, for example there's no ICT, but I suspect that's their choice, given the distances and costs involved for games through the week.
'Rangers', against SPFL rules, withdrew their Colt side from the competition this season.
Celtic have played far less as their U20 side plays in European competition, on the same weeks that their first team is getting humped in the Champions League, against the same young teams (I think).

Playing Dundee tonight at Tannadice (6pm).
We are 2nd bottom. They are 2nd top.
Would be a very nice time to get one over them.
Plus boys like Logan Chalmers and Idris Kadded could have a real chance of staking a first team game if they can show a bit of form.
