Club captain is just a made up position outta loyalty for someone who no longer gets a game anymore.

Agreed. Under Levein we had umpteen boys who were captain material: Weaver, Dillon, Wilkie, Dods, Robson, Daly, Webster, Flood.

Unfortunately in current squad there's not a stand out captain in my opinion, the type of character I would like as a captain is someone who wants to win at all costs and demands same from entire team
