Was delighted when he came back but he's been a shadow of his former self.  Really don't think it has helped him not having anybody in front of him for the last 2 years though - he was at his best when he had Conway to partner up with.

Always tried his best though.

Paul returned to a club which was on a downturn at the time, from which it kept going down. Aye, he was part of it, but certainly not a major cause. He offered to leave a year ago after relegation to save the United money, and always tried his best on the park, often surrounded by ineffectual comrades coached by clueless managers.

His full time anguish at Hamilton five days ago matched that of any Dundee United fan.

He's another who will get a decent club and at 30 is hardly in the twilight of his career, as long as injuries aren't catching up on him.

Think Robson should get a decent shot at LB as other posts say with a good left mid to help with out balls and help him with defending, I personally think he will come in leaps and bounds.

 
Imo he should definitely not. Happy to have him as back up and learn the trade...but he's not a number 1 lb for me
