Dillon or Townsend ?

Both will probably be available for our next game v Partick.

Who would you opt for at Left Back?

I would stick with Dillon tbh.Think he's been pretty solid there.

Re: Dillon or Townsend ?

Dillon doesn't deserve to be dropped but Townsend gives us better balance....tough ain

Re: Dillon or Townsend ?

Dillon certainly doesn't deserve to be dropped but a fit Townsend offers a lot more going forward. Could be Dillo at RB cos Keef's played a lot of games lately, some on manmade surfaces.

Re: Dillon or Townsend ?

At start of season would've went Dillo right, Townsend left, but Watsons playing well just now, so for now stick with what's there.

Townsend. Better attacking and defending. Dillon doesn't deserve to be dropped but footy Isn't a kind game.

Re: Dillon or Townsend ?

Dillon knows he'll never make the left back position his own but the good thing about our CC is he doesn't seem to let it affect his commitment to the team and we know he'll always try his best in whatever position he plays. Having said that I would rather go Townsend LB & Dillon RB at the moment and just for the record Fojut and a fit Souttar in the centre. Imo we don't really need rampaging full backs in the current formation we play if our outside halfs take a game.

Word for word what I would have said.

I think we need better than both tbh, really think we missed a trick with Shinnie, maybe not too late.

I think a blind man could see we're going to get a massive sell on wedge for Andy Robertson within 18 months, as much as £2m maybe.

Let's spend £200k or whatever is required for Shinnie in January, get the deal done now, if not he will sign a pre contract with Aberdeen I fear.

We've a real chance to win a trophy and finish 2nd for the first time in our history, I'm not wanting us to spend speculative amount of cash but £2-300k on a proven left back is money well spent IMO.

Re: Dillon or Townsend ?

250K for shinnie would be decent.
