And i will give McKinnon some credit also.

Moving Murdoch to RB has been a good move as has bringing Kuate in beside Flood.

Today was McKinnon's one year anniversary as manager.

When asked on radio about Kuate earning a contract for next season he said he still has a lot to do before that's the case or words to that effect.
Agree, Murdoch was fairly solid and did well.
Really really enjoyed Kuate's goal. Fucking beautiful strike. One of the finest left foot skelps I've seen at Tannadice!

Love his interview in BBC Scotland twitter...

Re: Dundee Utd v morton part 3

Where do the managers get their analysis from - cleary not from watching the games. Duffy apparently upset at the 3 goal margin suggested his team DOMINATED THE 1st half. In the (whole) game they had a total of 2 shots, none on target,Bell had NO saves to make so what area of any significance did they dominate.

McKinnon was just as bad. Apparently we've been playing lots of good football this season (presume that's why fans are turning off in their droves), we're in a rich vein of form (drawing with Dumbarton, Ayr, Morton, Falkirk, getting humped by Queen of the South and scraping single goal victories over St Mirren and Dunfermline). And the first half was again dire, devoid of any entertainmment apart from a Mikkelsen long ranger.

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Re: Dundee Utd v morton part 3

We played some good football after going 2-0, amazing what confidence can do for a football team.

Some strike fae Kuate, celebration was class, good to see a character like that in a tangerine shirt.

Re: Dundee Utd v morton part 3

Liking Kuate - not his best game but better 2nd half and what a strike (wrong foot too?)

Robson a big worry (appreciate was am injury doubt before game) - not up to it physically and for some reason hadn't realised was so one footed - never thought I'd say this but Dixon might be a better bet

Am more and more impressed by Murdoch - really solid defensively and getting better going forward

Meant to add - first time I've gone for a wee celebratory refreshment in Frews after the game and really fucking felt like it  for a long time

Re: Dundee Utd v morton part 3

I'd play Dixon in next round of games, 100%! Murdoch has really really impressed me of late was probably one of the best players on the park it was obvious they were trying to give there leftmid the ball at every opportunity in the first half and Murdoch dealt with absolutely everything, do we need a new right back??

Super, I'll agree with you here: Murdoch has done really well in that position, and tonight dealt well with, I think, the highly rated Aiden Nesbitt.

Dixon, in my head, owes us something, I'd like to see him back on Tuesday night.

I'm starting to wonder if this is why Devlin has not actually signed yet. Maybe Ray is in two minds about it. Murdoch has been really impressive at right back.

Too much commotion

Murdoch's been solid at right back. Far more dependable and disciplined than Toshney and he gets forward better than VDS.
