By the weekend,apparently.
Mckinnon saying he would be 'very excited' to get the signing pushed through. It's another attacker too, apparently.

Fingers crossed its a good 1 in and a bad 1 out
Online!
Hopefully Spittal out. I know people have said try him at right back but if he was any good he'd have been tried there recently.
Cammy Smith out would be the obvious one but don't know how much of his wages we are paying so that might not make much difference.
Apparently there's interest so you'd think it's someone that's featured. Murray?

Smith or Donaldson i think will leave if we can agree a deal we donaldson if he can get another club

Noticed Jass Sukar's loan deal at Arbroath finished on 8th Jan (according to transfermarkt). Might be a better & cheaper option than Donaldson to have from the bench. Impressed me in pre-season and has played a lot of games for Arbroath this season.
Think a fresh start for Coll would be best really.

Donaldson probably, Jass Sukar is back from Arbroath after playing well by all accounts! Interesting hopefully a tricky direct winger! Going by what he said it seemed like there has been a enquiry so don't think it will be smith tbh

I heard the 'exciting' player is Dylan Bikey. Supposed to be absolutely electric.

Its Donaldson I reckon.

I'd be excited about Donaldson out and nobody in.
Imagine going to Tannadice and not worrying that hewas playing.
Bliss.

Looking at some Albion games, he seems to play high up on the right.

He has 7 goals in 7 games so far I'm sure.

Been told a few of the younger lads in the under 20's have been told they are surplus as well as Donaldson & Smith.

I assumed by rays comments it would be a proven well known player not a 21 year auld from stirling albion

Like Bowers says I was hoping it would be somebody abit more known or what not but I'll trust Ray 100% on this if true.

Maybe McKinnnon meant he was excited about him because he see's what he can bring to the side. Not because he's a big name or that.
Who knows.

I had heard the bikey rumour. I'd also heard the reason he is playing as an amatuer is because his French club want a £40k development fee. I hope I haven't spoke too soon as it would brake my heart. I doubt united would want saddled with that bill!
Seriously though, from what ray said, it sounds more of a marquee signing than a boy from the lower leagues - no offence intended. I feel we are needing to get someone proven at this stage that will fit right in - not potential

Just got a text from the Technical Director of the club I coach with. He is on a plane to a coaching convention in Los Angeles, sitting next to Colin Miller (ex pro, played in Scotland, currently manager of F.C. Edmonton). He told our TD that F.C. Edmonton have just signed a 24 year old forward from us. I texted back to ask if he can find out who.
If true, I'll say Simon Murray!!
I heard earlier today we were getting rid of him to make way for a striker coming in by Saturday.

Possibly a step down, but quality of living would maybe be a factor in a move like that.
