Apparently, Ray said at the recent Q&A that he has an emergency loan up his sleeve but will not be bringing the player in too soon, so that he will be available for all potential play off games.
Friday is 93 days until the Championship Play Off Final (second leg).

But we are going for the Premiership Play Off Final :-)
The 2nd leg of which is on 28th May - 93 days from 24th Feb
So we'll know around then if the rumour is BS

You know what....great news.
For the club, it saves us a substantial wage and for the player, living in such a different culture with the language barriers etc could be the making of him.
Think he just needs to grow up a wee bit and lads do that at different rates
Dont think he'll survive out there tbh. I follow Polish football and they're unforgiving out there. I dont know too much about Nieciecza tbf but a guy I know who stays in Warsaw and another friend from Krakow outline a story pretty much similar to Gretna. A team from a small town bankrolled by substantially wealthy owners. You never know though, maybe they can make something of Donaldson.
Though more likely IMO that he'll soon discover the sweet taste of 50p vodka and 1 pound pints too attractive. Douglas done well out there as his head was screwed on tbf, whatever split opinion on his ability. Don't see Donaldson doing it though tbh.
If anyone is interested btw.

I don't rate Donaldson but we are very short at the back now.
Fit Centre Halves - Durnan,Edjenguele,Dillon
If one or more of them gets injured we are in a World of trouble.
The club must surely secure an Emergency defender loanee or out of contract player.
Toshney can play ch as well. I'd rather boost our attacking options.

We supposedly just signed a winger.

What like with Templeton btw? Is it a case of we are signing him soon as he is fit?

the Tully is saying the deal could net us 50k holy phuck have they seen Donaldson play. I cant really work out what his strengths are, pish in the air, pish in the tackle and physically not up to the demands of division 1, shocking attitude (semi final) worst defender weve had since Danielle Chiarini

50k profit ........ST keeping the surplus from the whip round to pay for his flight to Poland ?

He was apparently one of the best ch's in the league last year for raith.
Not sure if we write that off after a bad game there for us.
He and Dillon are adequate cover for a team in our position.
I'd be fuming if we used up our emergency loan on a 5th centre half when the team is still crying out for pace

Firstly,he's pulled his hamstring so won't be available now till probably April at earliest.
Secony,Saturday past showed exactly why he couldn't ever be considered a viable option for us at CH.But to be brutally honest i wouldn't have him anywhere near our back 4 in any position,full-stop.
Utter bombscare.

Think Coll's got copyright on the bombscare but you're right that was a shocker last weekend.
No positional sense, couldn't jump, pushed , pulled and bullied by Falkirk "Giants" , too slow, couldn't get a tackle in, poor distribution, no idea what others were up to nor controlling defence around him.....apart from that a total howler.
This isn't a young laddie, he's here on a decent wage, signed for a fee, should have the experience and guile to survive in this division......certainly struggled badly on Saturday and gave no indication it was only an off day.
Midfield or bin him.
Edge and Durnan with Dillon as cover should get us by but rest of team need a rocket up them to get some pace into side.

Fair enough on the injury. But the point still stands that he was signed as cover for ch, signing a fifth backup ch as our emergency loan is uninspiring and not really going to propel us up the table.
In a one in one out scenario, if you were ray, would you really be using your last roll of the dice on a second backup ch??

Thats a new face in til seasons end.
Transfer window is still open in Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, Romania, Czech Rep, Russia, Bulgaria, Poland to name a few so boys will still be getting released from contracts there.
Hungarian window shut yesterday aswell.

Hopefully when the exodus starts, we get some player's In. I'd like to see us Nicky Devlin. Was at Falkirk last week watching us with Keats. Much better than we have.

Devlin deal is signed. He's on holiday but will be announced when he is back.
