Maybe it was a touch OTT but I think ur missing my point here. 
I think the club need to sign someone that can galvanize the fans. .

Ray knew before he agreed to manage us how his budget would be for this season.. He used that in the summer. Some will agree will disagree with his signings in the summer

However.. I do believe ST told ray he would get X amount to strenthen in january and has maybe went back on his word.

 
Hard for a Manager to believe his budget when Peter Houston left due to what was on offer then Jackie got more.

Mixu's budget was increased then RMCK takes weeks to take the job worried it's too low a budget so how can we blame him for thinking the goalposts might not move financially.

We all know we need more cash injected but have no more than ST decides or risks.

I'm not on about signing players.  I'm on about the fact we've no money. Skint, potless and any other words that describes not having money. 
Maybe you saying it then other folk will realise the situation the club finds itself in.

Fwiw, in a world where - now we're out of the cup - the only money coming in now on a week by week basis is from cash at the gate, I wouldn't mind if we sold Murray, but there does have to be some kind of replacement, even if it's just a kid on loan.

I wouldnt be surprised if Murray or fraser are sold before the window shuts. 
Cash flow is major problem.  That's why tickets are on sale for every remaining home game just now. 

If hull sell robertson that would help but it's a crazy way to work a business plan on.

Fae the clubs involvement it's a fuckin gamble so I hope we have a shit load of options lined up to give oor odds of a decent signing or 3 a better chance.

Without cash to sway players were flat out hopeful we are the best option at the last minute.
