Big question is - do you start him on Wednesday?
Personally I say no. Bilate was really good yesterday, caused Dundee's defence all sorts of problems, yes he's not great on the ball at times, has a lot to learn, but he really surprised me with his performance yesterday.
He can't last a full game and was pretty awol in the second half, think I would give him at least the first half, maybe 60 mins then bring Ciftci on, great subbie to have on the bench, will put the fear into Dundee and give us a boost. Imagine it being 0-0 with 60 mins gone and you can bring on Ciftci.
I do think also that Ciftci needs to learn a lesson from his mistake, and putting him straight into the team after last weekend wouldn't teach him anything and if I was Bilate I would feel very aggrieved to lose my place after a win like that.
What's everybody's thoughts?

Agree....yesterday was as good a TEAM performance as we've had in 2014...without our maverick all be it our best player
id start the same 11

I'd rest Bilate and start Nadir. Mario's bound to be tired, and he's a far better player so that's what's best for the team. If he doesnt I won't complain.

I agree with what you're all saying, I just watched the game back in full and Stobie says, it was our best "team" performance of the season, at least on a par with Aberdeen game anyway. With that in mind it would problably be a kick in the nuts to Mario and Erskine if they were to drop out for Ciftci and Stretch.
The Fun are going to be well up for Wednesday now, we need to get the first goal, and if we do it could be another four or more.
Personally I think Ciftci and Armstrong would tear them apart so I'd like to see them play, but couldn't argue with the same again.
Big game on Saturday too.

That's a fair point, not sure how he will cope well with 2 games in 3 days.

Start with the same team imo Armstrong and Shifty can come on to shake it up in the 2nd half if Dundee prove more stubborn

All good points. There is a case for leaving Nadir on the bench, personally, I'd start him (and Armstrong) in order to freshen things up a bit and give them something else to think about. I was actually thinking about the possibility of starting Chaz Telfer as well but after Rankin and Patons much improved showings yesterday they must start again. Goalkeeping position is an interesting one though. If we were playing anyone else bar Dundee on Weds, I reckon McCallum or the other Pole in Goal would get a start.

Just because we won 4-1 doesn't mean there's not room for improvement.Wednesday will be even harder as Dundee will have a game plane to come and sit-in,use spoiling tactics and try and hit us on the counter/and or nick one fae a set piece.
What i'm trying to say is in one of our biggest games of the season we play our strongest team. That for me would always include Armstrong and Ciftci. Not even up for question.
I'm seeing a lot of positive reports about Bilate today.Maybe i'm just hard to please or a moany bastard, but i just don't get the hype.Rarely gets in goalscoring positions, for me.I await to be won over.

Ciftci would start for me, he must have been boiling sitting on the sidelines after doing something so stupid last week, he will be raring to go.
Also think if we put out the same team will Dundee field the same team with the same tactics? Probably not after getting humped 4-1 so maybe it's a good thing to change it up a little bit and catch Dundee on the hop again.
We have a strong enough squad to rotate certain positions and we might as well use them, especially having 3 games in 7 days.

Ciftci on the bench for me, as a reminder to why he didn't play last game.
Stretch on from the start as he was slightly better than the excellent Squiddy.

That sounds a bit like cutting aff yir nose to spite yir face tae me Bugs.
If it was against Elgin City or Montrose i could see the point in benching him to make a point, but this is one of only 2 pieces of silverware we can win each season.
Strongest team available please Jackie.

Starting Nadir would give Mario a good rest, with no Graham we need to slightly rotate.
