Although a Stenhousemuir fan locally, I've watched a couple of Shire games this season and know a a few folk connected to the club. One of them is a big United fan.
I've no animosity towards East Kilbride
But that's not their first loss in months, Spartans beat them last month too. They're floundering!
Oh aye,so they did.
Tbh their form has nosedived since Robbie Winters left the club (for work reasons).

Champions
Won their league before Celtic and done it in style too defeating Gala Fairydean 1-6 away from home.

Just 6-1? Mind this result from November: Gala FR 1 East Stirlingshire 10.
Congratulations to East Kilbride right enough.

EK vs Cowdenbeath then, how will that one work out?
I reckon EK will beat them, Cowden are an absolute mess of a club just now.

It won't be a formality for EKFC for sure.
But no team likes coming to the K-Park.
Their record there is unbelievable in recent times.

Well done, so far, EK.
Cowdenbeath have been in free fall for the last few seasons, but I'd be sad to see them out of the leagues, in the same way the 'Shire brought me a feeling of nostalgic melancholy when they departed the system. I mind watching both clubs in the top league at various points, and with the 'Shire being really bitter rivals to Falkirk at one time, I tended to side with them in the days that you could go to any number of matches very cheaply.
Cowdenbeath, I recall, bringing thousands of fans to Brockville, some by special train in 69/70, when they were promoted to the top league, and one of my favourite away days with Stenhousemuir was always Central Park and a visit to The Goth (pub).
So I'll tend to side with them in the Play Off, but all the best to EK if they manage to emerge victorious.

Went to Palmerston tonight and kept a clean sheet and won the penalty shoot-out.
My wee team continue to go from strength to strength.

Tough group for EK with Accies,Qots,Stenny and Albion Rovers.
5 points outta 12 is an admirable return for them imo.

Stenny, or more correctly Stennie, was a local gang. It's the 'Warriors', please.
Which was also a local gang, but only if you lived in Coney Island.
Gangs seemed to have vanished now in Scotland. Or as I'm old, don't I notice them any more?

Won their opening game 10-0 against Selkirk.
This is the year.

Possibly that game will be annulled. Sadly Selkirk are in great difficulties, and following that 10-0 game at EK, they lost 8-0 at home this week. Few players, no cash and owing money, they might go under.
Tomorrow's game has been put off, hopefully they find a way forward.

Yeah i was reading about Selkirk's difficulties yesterday.
Not good. Hope they can somehow stay afloat.
I see there are claims the players had not been paid since the end of 2017 - good to see the fitba authorities were right on top of this situation as usual

Selkirk have withdrawn from the league. All games annulled. As scarpia says, another governance failure for the SFA.
Plus posting this doesn't mean I have to see "Falkirk" on opening Tek Towers.
