Have decided to go through to this tonight so will be doing updates on my twitter @martinlow94 if United aren't doing any.

Couple of trialists tonight perhaps...
Did anyone hear about a Romanian central defender meant to be playing tonight?
He was at Tannadice on Saturday.
Think I'll go up.

From what I've heard, there's defo a French and Dutch centre half, 1 in particular came highly recommended! Pal also said he wasn't sure but he thinks there is a German guy on trial also

Took a last minute trip up, actually been a decent game so far. Quality goal from Utd who apart from one CH mix up look fairly solid at the back.
1 negative tho is that Justin Johnson will never be a 1st team regular, boys touch is awful.

Exactly my first impression when I first saw him last season but I've had a few pleasant surprises since.

Any stand out performances - anyone look remotely ready for a step up?

Tidy enough, won a few tackles etc
Worryingly didn't look out of place.

There were some decent performers 1st half - the 2 smiths, Coote, Taylor and Ballantyne.
2nd half kind of lost the way, Coote going off at HT didn't help, he offers good options.
Brad Smith to me on tonight would be the closest to 1st team material, but it's only 1 game.

Not just his touch tho mate, attitude and body language all wrong. Doesn't look a happy boy. Was our worst player tonight, that's not where he should be if he's looking to progress.

The scorer was 2nd half substitute Dom McMeekin (new name to me).
It was a bit sore on the eyes. We were doing ok till going one down to a central defence cock-up. Then Allardice gets sent off with a last-man tangle of legs. It's a dev game ref, use your phukn head, it wasn't deliberate, you've ruined the game. Whittington had a Lord Mayor of London ten minutes and Fun scored two more. Murrell got injured but we'd used our three subs. Nine men. Aberdeen reject Low had his best-ever game and Sir Galahad snuffed out any occasional 2nd half United attacks.

Will the Fun be selling T- Shirts?
