I am disgusted with the result, but not surprised.
I will NEVER forgive or forget the people who REJOICED in our country being shafted tonight.
I will state them all later today.
But it's been a long,long,night and i am tired,deflated and very depressed.
Everyone of the guys on here who voted YES,i thank you.All good guys and i know you will be hurting just as badly as me today.

No actually.I can't go to bed until i say one thing.
I believe in democracy.I can accept people supporting the NO vote for whatever reason they may have.
What i can NEVER forgive or forget is the people tonight who REJOICED in our country rejecting the chance for independence.I saw people hugging, jumping, shouting and celebrating loudly that their own country had rejected the chance to run themselves. Most of these people were Labour supporters.
I will NEVER forgive or FORGET the role that high flying Scots politicians in Westminster had.
Lord George Robertson
Lord Jim Wallace
Lord John Reid
Sir Menzies Campbell
Former Chancellor - Alistair Darling
Former Prime Minister - Gordon Brown
Common denominator ? Power...titles..status.
Who were the high flying politicians who spoke for Scotland ?
Well...there was none.Just politicians who lived here like Salmond,Sturgeon,Sillars and Sheridan.
I will never forgive or forget the media's role in this, particualry he Scottish Media's role in the referendum.
Only ONE paper came out in our support,a Sunday paper. The rest extremely biased towards NO.
EVERY tv channel biased in NO's favour, even Beeb Scotland.
The Establishment closing ranks with the order fae Westminster to banks and big businesses to pull out of Scotland.
I will never forget.
Add your own own thoughts.
Add your own reasons why you think YES lost,or NO won.
Add your own scapegoats.
Or just add where you think we go aw go fae here troops.

Can't add too much to this ^^^^.
BTW Danny Alexander is intent on ensuring the added powers, although he doesn't know what they are, are in place on time.
So, all is well.

Guess who's overseeing the introduction of these new 'powers' being implemented for Scotland?

I've been critical of both sides (not on here) and felt the Yes side should have offered much clearer plans, but I still voted Yes believing it was a chance we had to take. I didn't think it would, but by christ that was a sore one to turn the tv on to this morning. Sick.

Never mind, seen it for myself now. Ill judged, but it's his opinion which he is entitled too I suppose. I wouldn't have done it myself if I was in his shoes but to each his own.

In the short term prepare your ears on Sunday for the shouts of "No means No" & "I was born under a Union Jack" from the deluded Derry Wankers

Think he has deleted it from his Twitter now, but he just posted a photo of the Union Jack with #nowsimmerdown.
Like I said its his views and freedom of speak and all that but I dont think it was a very bright move.

Devastated.
Im my opinion, those who voted No voted for themselves. We are a total laughing stock to the world, who would actually tick a box that says you want another country to run our affairs.
A total minter for all those rejoicing at keeping the status quo.

I blame those who refused to look into this properly, those who's dislike of Salmond made their minds up without a second thought. A study by the guardian showed, that those who were more informed were more likely to vote Yes.
I blame the No campaign for spreading fear amongst those vulnerable, I blame people for believing it.
I blame the BBC, especially for the effect and persuasion they would have held with older generations who cherish the BBC, they took advantage of their position and as journalists have lost all integrity.
I blame all the people in Scotland who doubted us as a nation.
Most of all I will blame them all when Scotland gets a Tory & UKIP coalition in 2015.

2 years before the referendum we're no getting any extra devolved powers say Westminster. 1 week before the referendum they say we will. Today they say they will give England more too. Be sure what they give us in one hand they'll take a whole lot more back in the other just like they always have. We have in my mind shafted ourselves again but time to move on and take it like Lubbock Away to buy some shares in Preparation H.

That sums it up quite neatly there JBJY. It was self preservation all on the way on varying levels right through society.

There were far too many who admittedly said they hadn't bothered looking into it so were just voting no. Most of these folk worked on the line of, "I don't want change and everything is fine!". This was always going to happen and I think these are the votes that hit the YES vote. Such is democracy.
Part of me really wants the shit to hit the fan to make a lot of people realise how ill thought out and damaging that type of off the cuff view can be.
And I bet Nick "the Chunt" Robinson doesn't even get pulled up!

Heartbroken boys, as you've known from my posts on here I was absolutely convinced we would win this, predicting at least 55% Yes, I still can't see one positive reason for voting No.
Some horrifying statistics from the YouGov poll when you examine the details, 75% of people who voted No made up their mind over 12 months ago, before the White Paper, before the scare stories, before the love bombing.
We never stood a chance.
My next favourite question is "what are these new powers then?" I've still no idea.
Well done Dundee, well done Glasgow and the surrounding Yes areas.
I'm glad it was a resounding No though so the low turnout in both Yes cities wouldn't have made a difference.
I think I'll feel bitter about this for a long time, my only grudge however will be forever held against the Labour party, their disgusting behaviour here will never be forgotten by my family.
From this day on I will vote Tory at every General election and SNP at every Scottish Government election to do whatever I can to make sure the the Labour party never gain power again.

I would never have believed that there was 2M Tories in Scotland. Don't know what else they can vote at the next General Election after yesterday, coz they're gonna be the next ruling party in the UK.
A lot of folk voted No coz they were scared. Well if this country, the UK, the country that they've voted to stay part of goes into a military conflict with Russia, over Ukraine or Syria, under Cameron, then they'll know what fear really is, then they'll wish they'd voted Yes.

I'm gutted too but will need to try and pick some sort of positive's from last night no matter how small.
For me the No supporter (not all but a majority) were more interested in self preservation and how the vote for YES would impace them in the short term,
Now I have a no bad job and make an honest living, my wife is a teacher and again is on a good enough wage, we have twa kids and a nice house in Angus so the status quo for us was a no bad option, however i want more than that for my kids and their kids and for everyone's kids, nobody in this oil rich, renewable rich country should be queing at a food bank to feed their kids whilst billions are being spent on high fucking speed railway lines from London and replacement bombs which will never be used (hopefully!!)
Make me sick to the stomach that we have blown the best opportunity we will ever get to free ourselves and have the power in our own hands!

Is that the "extra powers" that no-one's defined yet?
And Cameron's cast doubts on Brown's timetable?
Is it just me or is this Monty Python territory?
