Great effort again lads
Did anyone notice the boy getting the ball off his napper from a Spittal free kick in the warm up?

Looking forward to hopefully get the go ahead for different things

Also good to hear him praise the patience of the fans, we may need lots of it this season.

Appreciate what you guys organise: what was the excuse for knocking a display idea back, bowers?

They didnt give one mate.
To be honest.. Before i asked i expected them to go with plan B as the first display included the top tier of the east stand excluding the directors box section..

Tough one Bowers whether you involve the directors box or not. You might get knocked back for offering to involve them OR for leaving them oot.
Probably need to dig out their thoughts to understand and that's tricky and best kept private.
If they want to take part it wouldn't be a bad thing. Would be refreshing to see yer prawn sandwich image folk backing the team in the way the rest of the vocal stand do.
I take my wee lass to the ET Upper as she's 6 and I want her to have a front row seat with naeb'dy blocking the view, in earshot of the passion and less chance of being knocked oot by shytey warm up shooting.
She loves the flags/displays and maist up there seem up for the same.
Would look better with both tiers involved for sure.
You are creating an image/excitement more positive, memorable and fanatical than those that take the dosh or market the club to the next generation who will pay the player's wages in the future.
Keep it going lads! You've already progressed at a hoor O' a rate during rotten times.

Cheers mate
We will continue to do our best and to improve on past displays.

I'd rather the prawn sandwich brigade backed the team by collectively putting their hands in their pockets and paying for a big striker in January which (hopefully) will be the difference between us winning this league or being stuck for another season at least.

Get yer point totally bud. Of course I'd rather they fund solutions over joining in with the support.
I'm desperate for Bowers & Co to hurdle any obstacles and continue to save the support from being only spectators.
Can't influence how or if they spend on the team but fans need to do what they positively can.

Flag display on friday night in lower east stand
If everyone can hand the big stick flags back at the end that would be appreciated.
Offline
Just a quick one lads and lassies to remind we have a flag display in lower east stand tommorrow night
We would appreciate if all the flags could be handed down to front or end of rows prior to game kickung off

Just read on Hibs site that there's a minute silence afore kickaff.
No sure if Utd let you know and thought I should say incase you want to co-ordinate the handing in of the flags to suit what you feel is right timing bud.
Fae Hibs official...
Before kick-off, there will be a minutes silence and players from both teams will wear black arm bands as a mark of respect for those who lost their lives in the Chapecoense air crash in South America earlier this week.

That was briliant.
See if i was watching another provincial Scottish team (Hearts,Hibs,Motherwell,Aberdeen) produce a show of fandom like that during a live televised televised game,i'd almost be tempted to say I'm jealous.......except it IS us.
Bowers and friends, well done once again.
An admirable effort once again.
