Season 16/17 Predictions?
Gents with just 24 hours until our new season begins it's that time of the year again for unrealistic ,naive and ultimately foolish optimism (that will doubtless get thrown back in our face a roundabout May 2017 
In any case... what say you all?
Top Scorer? - Simon Murray (18)
Player of the Year? - Simon Murray
Young POTY - Justin Johnson
Most Improved Player? - Coll Donaldson
Who will make the breakthrough? - Harry Souttar
Will Utd win the Championship? - No
League position? - 2nd
Betfred Cup? - Quarter Final
Scottish Cup - Quarter Final
Irn-Bru Cup - Semi Final
I'm looking forward to this season.We have some exciting young players in the team with the 3 Smiths, JJ, Big Harry, Murray,Fraser,Robson and Spittal.
A couple of physical and experienced players in to compliment these youngsters and show the team leadership and I think we can achieve our targets this season i.e. = promotion.
Though it will undoubtedly be tough.
There's also the prospect of some really good away days this season (Ayr, Qots,Falkirk,Dunfermline,Raith...maybe even a trip to Wales or NI in the Challenge Cup)
Let's hope we can do well in all competitions we enter.
P.s having wrote all of that I wouldn't be surprised if we lose at Arbroath lol. It would be very United
