Apparently.
They're welcome to him.
Absolute crock.

Maybe the ssb physio team are fit for purpose?
How many times over the last few seasons have players come back and lasted 5 minutes or supposed to be out for x amount of time but are back months later, I have no confidence in that Jeff bloke at all!
No saying Morris isn't injury prone but surely if he comes back and doesn't last they shouldn't have given him the all clear?
Oh for the days o' Andy Dixon and his magic sponge!

I didn't think he was all that even when he was fit tbh Mr Chanter.
Had about half a dozen reasonable games in 2 years imo.

Not just the physio, the management team of the time playing him for over 45 minutes while crocked at McDiarmid in late 2014 should shoulder a huge part of the blame for the fitness level (or lack of it) of the player.

My point was mainly about oor medical team, but to be fair I didn't think he was our worst defender by a long way plus having to carry out the plans of our last two master tacticians wouldn't have helped much imho

Agree with 'chanter. Yet another question over our medical team. Too many crocks to be coincedence surely?

Inept management that deployed hopeless tactics and defensive formations coupled with the resultant midfield stramash's that left defenders openly exposed to attack at all times is always going to leave defenders on a hiding .
Having to partner Gavin Gunning as well is a tough shift that made all look hopeless as a result.
When fit and playing with Fojut there was a period of promise up till the injury against the farmers, J Mac at the Stevie Wonder tactics that night ! Never looked fit since.
Wish him well, another 100% er but like all have proved this year not good enough so needs to move on.
Hope Mcinness doesn't coach out the better player from within and show JM & MP up further though.

When he is fit, he's excellent no question but there is always going to be doubts about his fitness and yes I agree that night at st j has played a major role in his injuries the boy could hardly walk never mind run

Cal Morris was injury prone at Dunfermline. I remember the phrase 'if we can keep him fit' being used when we signed him.
Big Jaro made him look good last season.
His "defending" was laughable. Games at Motherwell and ICT spring to mind.

Have to defend the medical staff here as it's not them that are throwing them back into the team to early, the finger needs to be pointed at the strength and conditioning coaches as they are the ones who are analysing the data and looking at the biomechanics aspects and should be able to detect weaknesses in the joints and muscles. This is on the training ground not on the treatment table.

Fair enough, I've no idea about the staff in charge--just assumed that it was the medical side of it that passed players fit to play. Either way, we still have had some serious amount of long term injuries in the last few years.

totally agree mate, although some of the signing have been questionable in terms of fitness issues, Mario was given a 2yr deal without even getting a medical!
