Just voted for Derek Adams. Possibly the only available manager who has won the 2 nd division. Plus his teams were not good to play against through a mixture of tactics organisation and nastiness

Darren Ferguson would be an intriguing choice. I went for him.

I've gone for Yogi. Think he wanted the gig last time and he is getting pissed with ICT by all accounts. Would he take a step down for us who knows.
We need to aim high with this IMO as this is the man that will either get us going or see us in the championship for a good number of years.
I like his attitude and his players always play for him.

Oh God, please no.
Odious wee dick. (Adams, no you Beharder)

Think Adam's is doing well at Plymouth so possibly a non-starter anyway.Craig Brewster is his No. 2.
Incidentally their left back Graham Carey has scored the same amount of goals as Billy McKay this season.
If you're wondering why you kinda know that name it's because Jmac had him on trial and never offered him a contract.

We both are Silver however I don't look for a manager to be a nice guy just with a successful track record

I just find him unlikeable and boring. Not to mention nothing special.

Adams is a bible thumping weirdo. No thanks
Training would involve building a wickerman.

I ken it's just a bit of fun Tek, but several of these guys are in better paid jobs with bigger budgets than they could secure from United. If we can just go for anybody, I'll have Jose Mourinho, or someone like that.
Strangely, I think John Rankin will get a chance at the job.
So I'll go for 'An Other'.

Ray McKinnon for me, would come even if raith go up! Done brilliantly every where he's been, he's knows the club, knows the league, potentially already scouted player he's know who have the ability to competed well in that league, knows the teams in the league and what they play like. No brainier for me

Went for Yogi.
Wouldn't take no shite, every game v ICT you know you're in a battle.
Has brought in loads of players who can do a great job from the lower English leagues.

But I think the only guy who is in a job who is probably on a bigger wage than Mixu was on out of that lot is Darren Ferguson probably....and maybe Adams.
It'll be neither of those two anyway.

Why on earth would anyone who is a good stable club to join a club in absolute free fall, so nae chance John Hughes ect will come! It's gonna be someone who is at a smaller club or is without a club!

I think it'll be Barry Robson.
Not who I want and not sure why, just got a feeling it'll be him.
Out of that list is take Ray McKinnon, but I'm not convinced it's the right time for him either. There'll be plenty options.

In fairness I've been wondering where the best place to put Darko Bodul would be......

Put down A.N.Other.....that way when it all goes horribly wrong again I can sit back and say "eh didnae want him...."
.....so I'm not suggesting Stephen Aitken....just wondering why no one else has

I'd be happy with Badger but have a feeling Pressley might be in with a shout because he knows that league.
Barry Robson would be an interesting choice. The anger was written all over his face last night on the tv. He ripped up Rankin and Paton as well.

About time rankin and Paton got ripped in to, treated like some sort of gods from large sections of United fans

He was my choice when McNamara walked.
Done brilliantly with Motherwell over the piece.Plays with 2 wingers and 2 forwards, has loads of good contacts and signed good young hungry players from the lower leagues in England. And he's without a club so would require no compo.
Only snag is he had a 'meeting' with Thompson in October and said he disagreed about a few aspects of their discussion.Probably went along the lines of....
McCall - 'I'd want to build a team hear Steven and try and get us to Cup Finals and europe.Could you guarantee me we won't sell our best young players in every single window'?
Thompson - 'Ermmmm'.
McCall - Could you at least guarantee that my playing budget wouldn't be slashed season upon season'?
Thompson - 'Ermmm'.
McCall - 'See ya baldy'.

We have had many deficiencies in our team this year but totally agree with you there Mario the passing ability particularly of Rankin really is appalling, the amount of times he receives the ball with no opposition player near him and just hooks it over his shoulder is criminal. He then goes and closes down the player he has just gifted possession to and gets plaudits for his work rate.
