Away to Brechin on loan till seasons end.
Possibly with a view to preparing him for life in the Championship next season.
I'd have liked to have seen that lad get a game or two at LB in a flat back four THIS season. Can't have done any worse than Dixon has in that area.

dont think its a good idea to throw young untried players into our current situation all young players make mistakes and then it would be Mixu has not got a clue hes ruined his confidence etc. He will benefit from his loan at Brechin as their last few games will be pressure situations at a lower level where he will be less likely be pressured into mistakes.

I would normally agree with you word for word here BH.
But as i said in Post 1 ...could/would he have done any worse down the left than Dixon?IMO no.
Yes,it might have been a tough grounding for him but at least we would have bled him into the team and seen if he sank or swam.
Tbh the lads nearly 19.Normally by this age if a lads gonna make it you give him action.I think we are a bit too protective of our youngsters.
Anyway...good luck to him at Brechin.

Big fan of Jamie since I first saw him, but have you seen highlights v Sellick?

He should have been in the team since the turn of the year at the latest IMO, Dixon has been rotten since he re-signed, could he have done any worse?
It probably is too late to add him now, or unfair or whatever. He'll have it tough at Brechin but hopefully gets him ready for our first team in July.

We're far too cautious about throwing young boys in to the team in this country. That's why Scotland will never ever have any success, they refuse to give boys experience til they're 25+ and it's too late for them to develop into international level the way they should.
If Robsons not gonna get played at premier league level in this team ahead of Paul Dixon then we'd be as well just releasing him, no matter his age.

think it is a good move. can he pay wing back next season?
