Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

As Tek would say.. " I think there's a player in there.."

They just didn't like him one bit. The difference between him and Ofere is technical ability. A word for Billy McKay, often dissed, not many sniffs of goal today but clinical when it mattered.

Sean Dillon a close second for MOTM dare I say it.

Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

Remember posting that Anier deserved a proper chance before he was ridiculed as one of our worst ever players. As usual, I was shot down by some. Delighted for him.

On another note,  Dillon was singled out by both match commentators today as being immense. Another player who's taken pelters from a lot of our support lately. Well done Sean.

 Well said.
About time the cunt scored though.

Had a feeling he'd score today but reserved posting that as even I thought I'd be posting shite.
Have another daft feeling he might score more an chip in to the great escape Silver.

Looks a bit more tangerinie around the chops and napper than when he arrived. Mibbies he's growing into the team/club at last .
On arrival....

Today....

😄

Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

Said at the Aberdeen game that I almost didn't recognise him, definitely bulked up and obviously much fitter than when he first arrived......thought he finished his second yesterday superbly... keep it up Anier

Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

If he'd only scored the first goal yesterday we could surmise maybe it was just a fluke, a lucky break,a 'Rory Boulding moment'.

But that second goal was a truly instinctive strikers finish.Sharp,predatory,clinical.

He scored a couple of beauties for the Devs about a month back and i wondered then 'will that performance give him a crumb of confidence back'?

It would seem the answer happily may well just be yes.

Keep it going Henri.

Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

Is this apparent turnaround due in any way to his loan period?

So what happened to bring about such a change? Different training tactics? Greater fitness? Better coaching?

I'm not having a go, by the way, just interested to know how come the transformation. I think his fitness may have a lot to do with it.

Re: The rebirth of Sir Henri Anier

Just seen the goals, agree TEK, the second was an outstanding finish.

Looks right up for it too, might be our talisman for the next two months.

No gonna lie he has done nothing for us since he arrived until saturday.

Agree with this, the goal was a some finish. Hope that's his confidence up and can get a few more in the next few months.
