Re: Tek Towers Desert Island Discs #13 - Pat Reilly

That was a helluva shift you put in there Pat I mind feeling drained after doing my DiD

Good read (as these always seem to be).Probably my favourite thread on here actually and i hope it continues.Seem to find out more about the poster on this thread than even the 'Fan Focus' strangely.

Never liked The Fall and thought i was the only one judging by every music fan i talk too.So i'm glad your Wife see's sense (all joking aside i'll maybe need to revisit them and see if i can again see what all the fuss is about).

Well done Sir.

Re: Tek Towers Desert Island Discs #13 - Pat Reilly

Glad to see this back.

Always respected and admired Pat when he was on Mad, so when he made the jump across here I was delighted. You don't need to see things eye to eye to enjoy reading and getting to know other posters, even though I agree with most of Pat's posts anyway, so I always enjoy finding out more about the different people on here.

Love all the explanations to each choice, and almost fell out of my seat when I saw one of my favourite songs ever on there. Out of all the things we could have bonded and shared our admiration for, who would have thought it would be over someone who lives in a pineapple under the sea!

Although I can always blame my two young kids for this

Well done sir!

Re: Tek Towers Desert Island Discs #13 - Pat Reilly

Great choices Pat, tin hat on but I just don't get the thing with the Fall but any man that made the other choices and likes the ones you mentioned that you couldn't fit in has obviously got a good ear, so will have to revisit The Fall I think.
I take it you're a '56 man, I'm a '58 myself so maybees that has something to do wi' our musical tastes
really enjoyed the read Pat and forgot how much I liked Devo, I don't think there is many of us aboot.
Well played Sir
