Has the old Dixon we had the 1st time round returned?

If he has something to aim for in the box then maybe, yeah.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Dixon needs a player infront of him he can trust like the Dixon Conway days

Normally yes. But he doesnt have anyone ahead of him in this 3-4-1-2 formation.
The onus is on him whipping balls into the box, probably from a relatively deep position - something we havent had since the Daly/Douglas days.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Catching up with Arabzone and we're looking to be unpredictable tomorrow, so I'm going to expect the unexpected?

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Having to miss out tomorrow again, but missed the Killie game so a 5:1 win will be acceptable.

Really don't think about forecasting too much, only did it last week as it was a topic asked about.

Yet tomorrow, United will win 2:1.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I think we'll win 2-1 as well.

I'll even predict the scorers .....Murray and Spittal (free kick).

So get your money on Accies Lads.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I have a feeling Ofere will start up top on his own with Fraser and Dow behind him. I really really hope I am wrong.

Too much commotion

According to a lad on Twitter (who knows him) Gav Gunning is out tomorrow with Flu.

Think we should go back 4.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Was that a must win that we didn't or a must not get beat?

At least Motherwell look to be in freefall  - and so onto a real must win on Tuesday!

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Motherwell are 7 pts from 4th, we're 12 from Motherwell.

Today was a must win, the fact we didn't, by the sounds of it, really push on to force a result is typical of Mixus reign so far. We're down.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I'm not totally despondent.Sure it's a hugely dissapointing result (and performance),but at least we took something out of it.

'Well are in freefall and if we can beat them on Tuesday maybe they'll be the team to catch.

We need to win on Tuesday though or that's that. That is unquestionable.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Gonna continue being a fountain of optimism here and say we still have two games in hand, and can go within 6 points if they're won. 0-0 not ideal but end of the day it's a point away from home.

Bit annoyed we didn't keep murray on and go 3-4-3 in final minutes but it is still a point and 3 games unbeaten. We're not down till we are down mathematically in my eyes and eh hope the players feel that way too.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Can't see anything but 7 wins and a draw or two being enough to even get play off place, the others will get at least 3 wins each.  I just can't see how we'll manage that.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

When we get nearer the end of the Season I hope that 1 single point we got today is more meaning-ful than meaning-less.

We are twelve points from Motherwell and still have to play them three times - that's Motherwell who haven't won in seven games (and only two draws in that run).

Obviously not winning today makes things harder but not much harder than it was at three o'clock - the mountain to climb didn't get any smaller but if it got any bigger it's not by much.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

With our form/tactics/ability can anyone really see us beating M'well 3 times tho?

It's shit but we are where we are.
