Mckay is playing a very unselfish role in the team now

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I'd have Ofere on the bench for the time being until he gets fully fit.

Hopefully should be upto speed quickly as he has still being training, just not starting games.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

When I looked at his goals he scores well with head, think our options up top are good,  and pongolle back from injury also having the likes of pates back and even Dow.   hopefully mixu sticks with Donaldson,  along with playing gunning in the middle which I thought he should've done long before. Our sqaud as it is now is not the worse in the league.  Got a good feeling but keeping my feet firmly on the ground lol

Re: Hamilton away saturday

With him and Pongolle back gives us options. Mackay been off the boil a bit aswell so may be a kick up the arse

Biggest game of the season. Absolute must win as is Motherwell on Tuesday.

Must win.
Not as much of a buzz it seems from the fan base compared to the build up to thistle postponed game sadly.

It is a must win without a doubt.

Reckon the 2 wins have caused a bit of complacency with some supporters, I don't think we've turned the corner yet, but I think some people do. Hopefully not brought back down to earth on Saturday.

Regarding Ofere, bench on Sat, but a good option for 2nd half.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Good news about their suspended players, really buzzing for this game and it is without a doubt a must win.

0-3 the tangerines

Re: Hamilton away saturday

"Ofere is an added dimension, when needed".

Perhaps not an absolute quote, but certainly a paraphrase from Mixu tonight.

And I can see the need.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

My team would be.

................Kawashima..........
Dillon........Donaldson.....Gunning
Spittal..Demel..Fraser...Paton...Rankin
.............Murray....McKay....

Subbies -
Zwick
Ofere
Anier
Durnan
Dixon
Dow
Sinama-Pongolle

Our record there since they came back-up is pretty poor and of course they cuffed us 4-0 last time we travelled there. We need to win this one. They are the team to catch for me,even more so than Kilmarnock.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

Time for the law of averages to swing in our favour.

8 of that team will start every match now if possible, only the front 3 will change.  I'd start the team u've said this week.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I would still play Dow ahead of Fraser on Saturday

Re: Hamilton away saturday

I would play Dixon over Rankin. Rankin's weakness in the air will be exploited particularly in away games. Win your headers win the game that's what most SPFL games come down to.

Really looking forward to this, good crowd expected.

Same team for me. Rankin has done nothing to deserve being dropped and Dixon's form prior to the Killie game was terrible. He's no great shakes in the air himself, btw.

Agree with you to an extent in that Rankin has done nothing to deserve to be dropped, however if Hamilton are looking at ways to get at united Rankins weakness in the air will be top of the list.

Please be Zwick and not Szromnik in that case.

Re: Hamilton away saturday

If Mixu is starting Ofere then I'd say Dixon to come back in. Dixons delivery from wide areas into Ofere will cause mayhem.

Has the old Dixon we had the 1st time round returned?
