The usual fans who spin everything are hitting out with 'You do realise Mixu has signed 6 players?',

Yeah he has.One took 3 months to get here (Kawashima),an other has been injured the whole time (FSP),one's a fucking idiot+bombscare (Gunning),one's a rookie kid who's played 1 pro game (Knoyle) and one has frankly looked rank rotten thus far (Riski).Only demel has really impressed in anyway.

In that time we have released,sold or papped off on loan -

Aaron Khul
Adam Taggart
Ola Adeyemo
Marc Mccallum
Jordan Moore
Evan Horne
Aidan Connolly
Charlie Telfer
Ryan McGowan
Scott Smith
John Souttar
Euan Spark
and Chris Erskine has signed a pre-contract.

12 players departed and approx 500k in the bank.

I really don't think considering we are rock fucking bottom of the league it was unreasonable of our support to expect 1 or 2 really good signings this window to bouy the whole support/club.Meanwhile EVERY other club in the bottom 6 has tried to strenghten.

Usual fucking pish from the club that we've become accustomed too and some of our fans are just accepting of.

the optimist in me says we could still sign players who have contracts ripped up by their own clubs - however, i just don't see it.

2 windows which could prove fatal to uniteds hopes of staying in the premier........

maybe the unknown quantities of riski (not seen enough to say if he will take us by storm but i doubt it) or our happy hammer will do a job....

maybe pongo the second will get fit enough to play 90 minutes..... who knows

That's all fine and dandy but there's no target man, pacey winger or commanding centre half in that list ! We should have binned Kawashima and brought someone else who could have played straight away, McNamara not signing a goalie is criminal! Demel and pongolle were always gonna be a risk but think they will come good but tbh it will probably be too late cause we will already be relegated and less said about gunning the better

guess my annoyance was that mixi wanted a couple of signings in the window - i didn't realise this was at the expense of 2 experienced lads.

so we have international defender out, young lad with v little top team experience in (same position) and rising star out with loan signing of a player who's never really made it in.....doesnt fill me with joy......

always feel we go 1 step forward with the fan/club relationship and 2 backwards

Oh and riski looks dreadful and signing the inexperienced right back to replace McGowan, isn't that good either especially when Thompson said if he sold McGowan he would get replaced with 2 international defenders, Stephen Thompson to me is a bit like John Collins,they don't fucking think before they speak, especially on Thompson part he try's to get the fans excited with talk of players signing and doesn't back it up, prick

In this day in age especially with social media being rife, most clubs have someone on the board or general manager ect on Twitter keeping the fans up to date but we don't cause there all shitebags

this is not a dig at anyone , but we dont have an abundance of wealth we've brought in 6 who are of a higher quality of thre 10/12 going out so we pay the 6 more money as i said we get 6500/7000 support not that much money going about

What does a crystal ball have to do with anything?

We needed players in January and fast.We've floundered in that respect and in actual fact incredibly our hand is now weaker than it was on January the 1st.

In fairness, that's mainly dross that has been shipped out.
We were all livid when we found out McNamara had the playing squad at 51.
I am hoping that our business will be done now, scooping up boys out of contract that have just been released.
If that's not the case, we have every right to be furious. I'm already less than thrilled with our dealings.
Add to the fact that Thompson said his 2 international CB's and Mixu said it was exciting all the going on a couple of weeks ago and it's hard to trust anything they say.
If this is the strategy to cut our losses they should have came out and said it

If we're relying on scooping up players who've now had their contract ripped up, tells u everything u need to know about the state the clubs in, and signing no-one tells u exactly the same.

Not surprised at all with what's went on, whole Windows been about getting the wage bill down and whatever money in we can.
