Aren't we going for higdon, his loan is over he obviously is out of favour at Shef United. And we have a man who surely has good relations with that club. I know we are looking at hunt but this man would defo be a better choice. I kin it's been said to death but let's get the players in now if we are actually still looking, we have a win under our belts and a positive signing would aid with the lift that the players and fans got the other day.

Is it not because you can only play for 2 clubs in a season per FIFA rules and he's already done that?
I'm sure I've read that someplace?
Otherwise a target man is required and he fits the bill

I thought that was in same country but u may b right. Finding a big target man in January will b hard if only Jon daly was few years younger lol.

Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club.
This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America. As long as a player has represented a club in a league under the adjudication of a FIFA Member Association they will only be able to play for three different clubs.
However, this does mean that a football player is free to represent a total of three different clubs in any league in the world over the course of one season.

He has currently played for Shef utd and Oldham. So if what I got online is true then he can be signed on loan.

Higdon would fit the bill perfectly.

Higdon's spell at Oldham was as an emegency loan, that gets you round the 2 club rule.

I could be wrong but i'm sure Higdon was quoted as saying a couple of years back that the only Scottish team he would come to would be back to 'Well.
This was when Aberdeen tried to get him from NEC Nijmegen in Holland.
