Scott Fraser

It's like playing with 10 men when he is in the team, I know he is a young laddie but he is the biggest shitebag I have ever seen in our team.
Needs to have a look at himself, half hearted tackles are nowhere near good enough.

Re: Scott Fraser

Thought he played well tonight, always wanted the ball, lost it and asked for it back which is far braver than thundering into tackles, despite what some fans think.

Re: Scott Fraser

He's a good player, another whose been unfortunate to have came in the team at the wrong time.  His career could be over before its began in that team.

Come on Andy. First half he was ok, second half he was abysmal. The 4th goal was embarassing, he got the ball in space about 25 yards from our goal with acres of space to run into, but no he stands for about 5 seconds then turns INTO the Celtic players closing him down who dispossess him with ease. He then jogs back and by the time he reaches our box, Commons has scored. Shocking.

Too much commotion

Re: Scott Fraser

I am not questioning his technical ability but he is as soft as a jobby, that is why we are where we are because he and a few others are soft touches.

The 4th goal sums him up

Re: Scott Fraser

Agree plumber. His ballet dancing futba no far in in front of our box losing possession gave them their 4th goal.

Said on another thread the other day about the amount of "5 a side" players coming thru in Scotland just now, actually named Connolly, Fraser could be another who falls into this category.

I basically mean good footballers, technically, touch etc, but no understanding of the game.

Personally don't like this 7/9 aside stuff kids have to play for this reason but that's a whole other debate.

If I see Fraser playing with his quiff once mair, I'm bringing ma clippers tae the next game and I'm gonna gie him a buzz cut.

Re: Scott Fraser

Obviously very much in the minority but I take comfort in the fact that most around me thought Armstrong was soft as shite, didn't have any heart and was a passenger, a luxury we couldn't afford.

Time will tell bud, I think he's good, but the damage this season is doing to him could be irreparable, start of season he was fighting, he's not now, confidence has been massively dented IMO.  Hopefully he can turn it round, but how many young players have disappeared after a promising start.  I genuinely fear for him.

Re: Scott Fraser

Fraser clearly has some ability in the ball but his attitude last night was just terrible - ok so you try and take a man on a lose it, fine but dinna just stand there with your head on your hands, work like fuck to get it back.

Re: Scott Fraser

He has bags of talent, but by God he's frustrating to watch.

Celtic's 4th last night...WTF was he actually trying to do?He beats their man with a nice bit of skill and then bizzarely turns in the opposite direction TOWARDS our goal and subsequently runs into trouble. It's just asking for trouble.I've never seen him tackle once either btw.I hate criticising youngsters but he has to man up and fast.

Re: Scott Fraser

He's only got a left foot. Can't take a decent corner. Jury still out I'm afraid.

Re: Scott Fraser

Shite at corners,  doesn't track back after loosing the ball and soft as fuck.

Re: Scott Fraser

Pretty grim a young lad who has had 5th month in our first team is already been turned on, big style.  Yes at times he has been poor and when so he should be out the team like Clubs do with nearly every other inconsistent young lad. One of the few players in our squad within any real ability, nae doing he'll soon be in for the same treatment Soutar and Spittal have previously had. Much, much bigger culprits at our Club IMO

Re: Scott Fraser

Soft as shite, doesn't press or harass opposing players, rarely breaks a sweat and spends more time fixing his hair than he does on the ball.

Absolute passenger.

Agree, the experienced players have let us down and also let all the young lads down.  Also the lack of decent options in the squad has forced the young lads in more than maybe they should have been at times.

Seems they're easy targets.

But he's in the team and we are in the shit, you can't deny we need much much more from him.
Like I said his technical ability is not in question

Dinna mean to sound harsh on the lad Heggy, but he was solely, if not in the main to blame for the 4th goal.

Re: Scott Fraser

Agree that he doesn't tackle but there is no doubting his ability on the ball only one on Friday night that looked to find that killer pass and pulled a couple off! Heard whispers in the pub Saturday night that if/when we're relegated he is one that will be sold on with a couple of English clubs watching him since the start! Derby&Notts forest the 2 I heard
