See we've been linked today with a few players on newspaper websites and forums: besides Andrei Cordos and Noel Hunt, Steven Lawless at Thistle and Jackson Irvine from Ross County getting mentions.
Lawless was involved in a betting ban last May, and that's about all I remember about him (left winger) while Irvine I think is a good target, can play central in midfield or defence. However, he'd surely involve a bit of a fee, more than we might be willing to pay.

whats folks thoughts on Noel Hunt maybe coming back?

Irvine is the kind of long term signing we should be making to start the rebuild

Hunt was an excellent player for us,always gave 100% and he improved so much as a player under Levein.
However don't think I would want to sign him again, bringing back ex-players very rarely seems to work.

I have a hunch that Noel could well be on his way to tannadice! Would defo have him back, anier, muirhead haven't exactly set the made a massive impact as expected so we could really be doing with another striker and especially someone of hunts ability and experience

Also bodul will be away by the end of the window
Herz have had a 100k bid for Souttar rejected
Oh and apparently in 2014 an improvement on a 100k offer plus Souttar on loan for a season would have got us danny wilson
All according to the tully

Well monday the window shuts.
What will we see happen before them
50/50 for me bud. Won't be surprised either way.
Seems like we don't bring in until a wage is off the books. No sure if the lads out on loan will free up what we want brought in with hours to go.
Hopeful but worried that time runs out.
Hoping we are pleasantly surprised.
Recon we will end up with another panic signing again.

They'll probably sign the Romanian boy. No way should Souttar be sold now since we can get better money in a development fee at the end of the season. He's also been decent the last 2 games.

We are after Steven Lawless the Partick winger.
Bit underwhelmed tbh.Is he any better than say for example Erkine who's going the other way?I doubt it.But we'll see.
Online!
he'd be better than Erskine in as much as he would actually want to be here

Fair point.

The quality of player available seems to be average at best, Lawless for Erskine would be a decent move, cos if Erskines still here he ain't gonna play so at least it's another option.

I could be wrong but last season or something, he had one of the highest assist in the league, could be wrong though

Hink Lawless wouldn't be a bad move. More of an out and out winger compared to the wideman cum striker cum attacking midfielders Jackie signed, or attempted to sign, Erskine being one of them.
Where he'd fit in Mixus preferred formation is a different matter. Unless he's simply wanting options to change to a 442.

Andrei Cordos away home: so where is the big dominating CH going to appear from?

been a poor window thus far.

Better get his finger out as time is ticking!
Afaik no one else on trial so anyone coming in now would need to be a known quantity.
My best guess would be an Erskine/Lawless swap on Monday.....and that'll be it (barring a daft bid for Souttar getting accepted.)
