Thanks to everyone that has taken part in the competition, it's very much appreciated. And for those who look in at these competitions and don't participate, it's just a bit of fun, everyone is welcome to partake, the more people involved the better it is.
Game 4 saw the Wet Bandits and Home Alone cruise into the final with a straight forward victory, Christmas Vacation was cancelled, The Ref got sent off and Santa Claus was turned away at the door.

Brucie Bonus for anyone who can recognise and tell me the connection between the 'generic' music used in the Scrooged trailer to the movie itself.

It's A Wonderful Life.
In a way both it and Scrooged are quite similiar. Both stories of redemption. Both great films and could have voted either way on a different day.
IAWL just pips it as an iconic classic of cinema.

Thank you for the kind words,
Would be happy with any of the 4 to be the winner tbh, even though I haven't seen It's a Wonderful Life. I have it on the Sky planner to watch and WILL watch it before Christmas this year.
As I said before, I really enjoy Elf but it loses steam in the last third of the movie for me. But it is the choice of my two young Sieb-ette's at the moment.
Really really enjoy Scrooged, like many other things it just gets better with age.
But my vote has to go for Home Alone. Can watch it ad infinitum without it getting boring. Also wins for Marv's scream when the tarantula goes on his face.

Also the answer to the Brucie Bonus question,
The connection to the 'generic' music in the Scrooged trailer and to the movie itself..
The music is by Dave Grusin which was composed and used for the 80's classic The Goonies, Richard Donner the director of the Goonies was also the director of Scrooged.
For some reason that Goonies tune was used a lot for other movie trailers, especially in the late 80's early 90's, such as Innerspace, Junior, The Bonfire of the Vanities and The Mighty Ducks to name a few.

I'm mildly surprised that Elf has no votes, and it gets mine.
Grand competition, Sieb22, short and snappy, thanks.
