Honeymoon over, that's been brutal and any cunt that thinks otherwise is blinkered ,
I go back to last week when we had "we were superb first half" only to go in 1-2 down , we were better , better than what ? The shit we have been watching the last year, we are a very poor team, also why the fuck are we waiting over a month for a keeper and get a couple of guys in that are going to "walk this league" I see a bit of Jackie in Mixu

Not convinced sorry,

Re: Mixu

When we were in the shite under Brewster we brought in Levein. About 10 mins into his first game I turned to mate and said, "there is no danger we're going down"

This isn't Mixu's fault and we may still stay up, but he isn't Levein

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Brewster left him with a few good players though like Kalvenes,Wilkie,Conway,Hunt and Robson.

All guys with ability AND a winning attitude.

Look what Mixu has inherited.

Re: Mixu

Not convinced by him either, wasn't who I'd have brought in, but he's here and hope he can turn it round.

Found it funny hearing the comments after his Q and A tho when folk let saying " after listening to Mixu we've definitely got the right man", McNamara could even talk a good game....

Re: Mixu

I feel sorry for Mixu as personally I feel he has worked hard and we have been playing much better and should have had 4 points minimum from the last two games.
The keeper has cost us points and he started the series of corners they got leading to their goal by not shouting leave it to Gunning then giving Durnan a hospital pass,
Get that cunt out of tannadice

Re: Mixu

Think this is all a bit harsh tbh.

He's inherited a fucking shambles.

He's identified quickly that we badly lack height in the team and has signed 3 6ft+er's in Kawashima,Demel and Gunning (the last one i wouldn't have liked to come back but beggars can't be choosers in November eh?).

He's cancelled days off and he's got the players in for double sessions.

He's bombed out Kuhl and Taggart who are 2 of the worst players i've ever seen in tangerine.

He's tried a new formation, after it was abundantly clear that 4231 had long since worked.Maybe he would prefer 442 but we simply don't have wide players so he's tried something radical, and it's 'almost' worked.

He can't instill a winning mentality in players who just don't have it overnight.

He wasn't my 1st,2nd or 3rd choice and no he isn't Craig Levein, but let's give the guy a chance i'e' once he has his own signings in place and fit.

Re: Mixu

He obviously wants to play football and that's to be admired.  But there's a time and a place.  When a goal up at home in a "must win" game an hour in, with conditions getting worse and worse by the minute, instructing the goalie to play futba fae yer ain bye line IS A BIG NO NO FAE ME.  Just get the ball as far away fae oor goal as is humanly possible and deal with whatever happens there.  Bottom line is that if we'd taken our chances in the last 2 games; or if we could defend and keep a clean sheet, it's 6 points instead of zilch.  I'm not hitting the Panic Button yet, but speaking to the Plumber after the game, he was bang on the money by saying we need to win a month of fixtures and hope everything else goes our way, just to stand a chance of catching up.  That is a grim thought!

Re: Mixu

I don't like the hire. Made my feelings known for a while.  He didn't want the job then he wanted the job...

Also, pissed me off as a player, never reached his potential.  Thought he was a bit lazy but that's just me eh

Re: Mixu

I was sat right behind the Hamilton dugout in the corporate mate and I was impressed with what I was seeing from Mixu.  He's currently pissing with the cock he has.  If the Hone Office were not holding up the goalie; and we took our chances in the last two games, we'd have had 6 points instead of zilch.  We need a MINIMUM of 4 points in the next 2 games, but ideally 6!

As I've said elsewhere, I'm not offering blind faith, but Mixu suffers from the actions of the previous management team.

We lack height for the long clearance: Muirhead is out on loan.

We've no width: Jackie said we were well covered there.

No experienced keeper: waiting for the Home Office.

And so on.....

But a defence such as Mixu selected today, after the fuck ups of last week in the same area, certainly begs questions. Again, I don't like to single out players, but some in the defensive positions should not be playing at this level presently, as a) they aren't good enough, b) they are past their best, c) they have a poor team spirit and outlook d) they have no experience at a decent standard.

Pick out for yourselves which of the keeper and back three I mean, again, in my view.

You can't take nothing from games when you are by and large the better side. You can't take nothing from 2 games AT HOME after a two week break and it's an absolute death sentence to play well, but still concede two goals.

Sry for the negativity like mate.  F ucked off with it.

Don't disagree with any of that at all.  We all knew he'd a job on his hands

Re: Mixu

Have to admit that what he has said had me believing that the sun shines oot his Paantilining! Ken it won't be swift as he's covered and see him rapidly deciding what we all knew.
He seems to see the fix quick but can't change the staff quickly enough.
Tactics won't be his style whilst dealing with what we have I hope,  change in attitude to working with what we have must happen in between building his own team. Luck has fucked off for sure.
It will re visit us with a better team and more solid spine in the team if things balance out.
By the time it matters we will have a cracking end to the season I expect and hope to fuck.
The belief that we are too good to be as shite as we seem has to fuck the fuck off!

Re: Mixu

Trying to stay as positive as possible and won't throw the towel in yet. Zero points from the last 2 home games is horrific tho, especially as we went ahead in both.

The one thing we have at this moment, is time. If we haven't closed the gap after the Xmas and new year fixtures, then we're doomed imo. I still have faith that we can turn this around.

Firmly believe in what's happening at the club. It's not going to be pretty but we'll survive

Re: Mixu

Problem is teams around us are picking up points. We aint. 3 of our next 4 games are against teams directly above us. I fear the gap will be bigger by new year
