Big Kjell although I did like Hunt
Much as I loved Kjell will go for Noel Hunt - great goal tally for someone who played up front on his own - might be wrong be decent proportion of assists to iirc.
Offline
Both have a similiar goals/games ratio.
Loved wee Hunty and have very fond memories of his time at the club that seemed to go hand-in-hand with the clubs renaissance on the field.
But i absolutely idolised Kjell Olofsson.
So he gets my vote.

Loved Huntys attitude, and he was decent too.
Got to vote Kjell tho, terrific for us

Kjell, but only just. Loved Hunty.
Both great players for us and exactly what we need right now. Hunt scored one of my favourite goals ever (Half-volley into the ET v Killie) and he'd have got my vote if we'd won the League Cup but I'll have to vote for big Kjell Olofsson

As much as I loved Hunty, it has to be Kjell.

People obviously talk about Mark Kerr's aberration as a huge turning point in that match but the real turning point was Noel Hunt having to go off injured.
We completely had the game by the throat until that point and afterwards lacked that out ball as De Vries just didn't have the pace of Hunty.
Allowed those bastards to slowly creep back into the game.

Always feel that one way or another Kenny Clarke would have found a way of letting them back in.
But you may well be right, Tek: I'll choose Kjell Olofsson for this one, by a half whisker. I really took him for granted until I realised his importance in the Easter Road match in 1998.

A lot of truth in that.

I doubt there will be a tougher choice outside of the final.
Two massive cult heroes, a goals to game ratio that was very close, two players who have love for the club still & two players I loved,
I will have to go for Noel Hunt.
I doubt one single United fan was happy with a signing of a bit-part Dunfermline player but every single arab ws sad to see him go.
He was the closest I've had to a hero since I stopped wearing short trousers.
