    Tek Towers Best Dundee Utd Striker - Round 1/Game 16

    The penultimate game of Round 1 witnessed an easy victory registered for Utd legend PAUL STURROCK who cruised to victory and will now as a consequence enter Round 2 as a seed.And joining him also in Round 2 (albeit unseeded) will be 60's hero WATTIE CARLYLE who finished runner-up.Eliminated from the tournament at the first hurdle are former Nou Camp hero Finn Seeman and ex-Scotland forward Darren Jackson (who failed to register a vote).

    Only saw Dalla Valle play in the flesh.

    But my vote goes to Dennis Gillespie.

    £3,000 from Alloa Athletic.Not a bad bit of business that from Mr Jerry Kerr it must be said.

    Coyne.  Used to stay in the next street from me.  Good guy and used to get kids goalie gloves from people like Alan Main and Billy Thomson.

    For all his goals in total, I wouldn't have thought of Dennis Gillespie as a striker. However, he gets my vote in this round.
