If voting doesn't pick up a bit Lads i'm gonna can this tournament i think.
Each match takes about 45-50 minutes to write up and the last match 6 people bothered to vote (that's including me).
It's not really worth the effort if it continues to be so ignored.
Hopefully it picks up...there seems to be a whole wack of posters missing at the moment and i'm not sure why.

I've been on a bender since Wednesday TEK and not been looking in mate, hopefully the competition picks up, all the competitions are enjoyable and the effort is always noted.

You're a good Lad Rocky, thanks for the numbers (and kind words).
The 8th game of Round 1 saw a very low-scoring contest won by former strike star of the 70's KENNY CAMERON who will now as a consequence progress through to the 2nd Round as a seed.Joining him in the 2nd Round also (albeit unseeded) will be JIM HAMILTON who finished runner-up.Eliminated from the tournament are Colin Samuel and forgotten man of the 80's (with an impressive 50% goal to game ratio) Glaswegian Joe Ward.

Before my time but has to be Davie Dodds.
When i first started supporting Utd around the mid-eighties and would wear a Utd top hanging about my street a lot of the older boys in my scheme who supported Rangers (mostly) would say things like 'Utd are my 2nd team wee man' and see when we were having our wee kick-a-bouts everybody wanted to be either Davie Dodds or Ally McCoist.remember it clear as day.
That in itself tells you something.
Wee boys don't tend to be bitter (or weren't back then anyway, they just wanted to be the guy who scores goals).

Hope so too mate. There are certain posters registered on here who only ever post to moan like fuck about Thompson and never post on anything else on here like General Discussion, Music, TV or Competitions boards. I don't get what that is all about. No life? Agendas?
I'm voting for Davie Dodds btw.

Ken what TEK don't think it helps wi this bit of the forum being doon the bottom, tbh eh only saw you posting these cause eh scrolled down by accident. Normally on mobile eh only look at the top half oh the forum, reckon im no the only one.
Eh'm gonna vote Casa in this ane, for the often forgotten Hand of God that set us on our way to the Scottish Cup in 2010 haha

Davie Dodds for me, and Tek, maybe folk are missing just now because they want to avoid discussions of uncertainty at the club, or maybe because we have no games the now.

Doddsy fir me, please
Will need to go for Gordon Wallace - not the greatest goal ratio but his experience was a huge help when Luggy was breaking through

Looks like my favourite for this round is comfortably going through, so on that rationale I'm voting for Gordon Wallace.
