The dizzy heights and well lined pockets has many alluring attractions for footballers and now the Timothy Three have all got that. However, a true footballer wants to be out there playing regularly for 90 minutes. Sitting on the bench regularly, especially when not being played, not only frustrates a player, it can also affect performance.
Once the aura of sitting on the bench (more regularly than playing) for Celtic wears off, then it just might be that the Timothy Three will realise what they have left behind at Tannadice, i.e. their boots!

I don't think I've ever seen a footballer knock back a concrete offer to a bigger club for more money - ever.
If there has been they are in the vast minority.
Which would mean a true footballer will always take the move.
Tbh, they probably don't think they are going to sit on the bench. They see it as a chance of bettering themselves.
If you have the confidence required to be a professional footballer, I'm sure you have the confidence to believe you can play at a higher level.
