Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Thankfully, Billy, it's still hypothetical.

Is there any way your magical projector can go back in time and calculate Ross Coonty's last December?

They ended up with 44, for what it's worth.

Just saying.

I copied this from elsewhere but here is the list of the teams bottom after 19 games and where they finished for the last five seasons.

Ross County are the exception in recent times and it will take a similar turn of results as them for us to get out of this.

2014-15.

Ross County 10 pts  Finished  9th  (44 pts) ..... bottom was 30 pts... second bottom 36 pts.

2013-14.

Hearts  -2  Finished 12th  23 pts ( 38 pts)  bottom  not inc deductions was 35 pts 2nd bottom 38 pts

2012-13.

Dundee 12 pts finished 12th ( 30 pts)  Second bottom was 41 pts

2011-12.

Dunfermline & Hibs 14 pts  ( finished 25 pts and bottom and  33 pts and 2nd bottom)

2010-11.

Hamilton  12 points. finished  bottom 26 pts. second bottom was 33 points.

Cheers, Andy, I'll concentrate on Coonty's outcome as a benchmark.

Do you think we have it to go on a ten game winning run

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Part of me says definitely, based on recent improved performances.

Unfortunately, the darker side of me is experiencing Deja Vu' from 95 where it doesn't matter what the fuck you do but luck and decisions constantly go against you.

So, in summary, not a fkn scooby but everything's crossed.

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Maybe if we supported them more, rather than abusing them, it could start a snowball effect?
Just a thought, but I'm only a misplaced positivist.

Tbh eh think the support mostly have done well in supporting the players which was shown again up in inverness on ssturdsy.

Yeah fans are still moaning and grosnong at the platers on matchdsys due to some terrible individual mistakes.
The fans have shown the backing to them with the selling out of tynecastle tickets very quickly and also no far of our derby allocation again i think we will see great support shown to the players.

Needs to work bboth ways and for what the fans are getting in return?

I'd agree with Bowers here. Fans have been good this season. You hear the odd groan but that has always happened at futba games. If we do go down the fans will stick by the club. They'll still turn out.

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Only 16 games left.
If the other teams replicate their points per game average to the end we will probably need 31 points or more out of 48. That would demand a match of St Johnstone's form up to now taking 1.55 points from each game.

Can't see that happening so it looks like we need others to have a seriously bad run of form.

After next home game v Celtic it's ..

Killie         home
Partick     away
Hamilton away
Hearts      home
Aberdeen home
Well          away
Dundee    home
St J             away
ICT            home

Then we play the other bottom 5.
