With bonuses it's certainly well over 100k, thankfully the bonus won't come into reckoning with payoff figures.

The bonuses are capped, this keeps it at approx the same level as Houston's salary if they make the required level of sales.
When they don't, that is where the cost saving is.
There is no way you get rid of someone due to wage demands and give his successor a higher wage. Bonus or not.

McNamara will be on say (for arguements sake) 2 grand a week>8 grand a month>20 months left = 160k

Say again (for arguements sake) his 3 coaches are all on 1 grand a week>4 grand a month>20 months left = 80k X3 = 240k

240k+160k = 400k

Obviously that's all conjecture on my part as i don't know their weekly wage but i would imagine that is the MINIMUM Jmac,Donnelly+Jackson would earn.

So 400k minimum to punt them...plus i don't know if lost potential win bonuses etc are factored into pay-off's.

A fair way off £500k already.
Take into account, managers don't get paid more than players as a general rule of thumb. Our top wage is £2k a week. His contract is known to be heavily incentivized. I don't think he's on anything near £100k a year. And if a big chunk is bonuses, that is up for negotiation in the pay off.
We'd probably get rid of them for the amount everyone was wanting us to pay for Scott Allan less than a month ago.
In my humble opinion

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

We must have loads of money built up since January, we have only paid out 5 (five) win bonuses

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

My original 500k prediction is factoring in potential win bonuses for all 4 plus the transfer cuts that Jmac,Donnelly+Jackson all receive HoustyArab.

They're no exactly gonna give up those incentives for nowt mate.

That's how i arrived at 500k to punt all 4.

But as i said, that amount is pure conjecture on my part.Though i really don't think it'll be a kick in the arse off that mate.

Projected Points for the Season

As you know, Tek has given me a Zero Hours contract in Tekel Towers.

Following draw with Icy Tea our projected points for the Season is now 24.

For those of you interested, this is what it looks like for next week.

If we beat the Fermirs - 34
If we draw we the Fermirs - 25
If we lose - 21

Can anybody tell where that would put us in the SP Table (in line with last Season for instance) ?

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

We had only 36 points when we got relegated Bill.

Generally 40 points are needed to have a chance at survival.

Jackies basic wage is over 100k a year before a single percentage is paid. It is capped per player and only once has it been capped. Fukin shit state of affairs. Amazed at how easy a ride the Chairman is getting btw.

Would seem my 'guesstimations' weren't too far off ExHA

Given this huge amount it will take to get rid of the current management it is absolutely imperative that whoever we get in is out of work and therefore free to sign a contract without any other financial outlay required (so Tommy Wright,Yogi Hughes,Ray McKinnon etc NON-STARTERS).

Contract must also be short-term till the end of the 15/16 season and though the salary should of course be competitive it should work more on high reward bonuses for real results i'e' (Top 4 and Euro Qualification,Cup Final appearances, winning Derbies, defeating Celtic etc etc).

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Incidentally 5 points now outta 27 this season.

And yet he'll be handsomely rewarded for abject failure.

As i said last night, that sticks in my craw.

All relatively affluent men who can still have a future in the game and have coined it in at Utd.They should have held their hands up and walked.I would have respected that.

Spencey refers to the "management situation". I would read into this that the figure would include any compensation due for a replacement...

I'm not sure mate.

Compo for a new Manager could vary greatly depending on their contract length/size of club etc.

I reckon it's just the general figure to pay them off.I greatly double we will consider paying compo for anyone (we shouldn't really imo).

Re: Mr Hainey's - Projected Points Thread

Based on needing 44 points after 33 games to make top 6 (guesstimate)

We need to up the overall points per game to 1.333
for the next 23 games this has to be 1.7

Not quite a win every other game but it will be soon, if we don't start picking up 3 points.

A more modest target would be 37 points over the full season to avoid bottom 2 places.

We need just less than a point per game overall (and from now on) but we are currently on exactly 0.5 points/game!
