I dont think that a banner welcoming refugees should be on the terracing of a football game in scotland.

Doesn't offend me in the slightest.
Again i'll ask you...why does it bother you?
What were witnessing is one of the biggest humanitarian crisises since WWII.
I think it's fucking fantastic that my fellow countrymen and women are extending the arm of friendship to these poor people.

Because you don't believe in football and politics mixing?

I'm finding it very hard to understand because you can't answer a simple question.
I've asked you on about 3 occasions why do you find it 'dissapointing' to see it in a football crowd.
You haven't given a reason why.You said 'it doesn't have a place there'.Why not?
I'll ask again is it because you don't want football and politics mixing?

Is it ok when United fans take part in a minutes applause to raise awareness and campaign for the Government to change the law?
Like in the Cup Final in March?

Nd ive said its a personal opinion i dont like it qhats hard to unserstand that i dont like or think a banner welcoming refugees into scotland is a good idea. There us many people who will do things to help these people i dont think a banner at a football match is right.
Certain fans lap this kind of crisis up.

I can kindof understand what you mean about certain people who "lap up" a crisis and use it to draw some kind of attention to themselves- I've seen it appropriately described as "grief tourism"- but in this case I think it reflects well on our supporters in particular and the Scottish public in general. It sends a very public message out that we do NOT stand shoulder to shoulder with that immoral, gutless and wicked individual cameron who would demonise these poor people and leave them to their fate in the hell that is Syria today. Clearly, football is not politics and there is an argument to keep it separate but it is also part of wider society and, as such, supporters are entitled to express their opinion on that society. As far as I'm concerned, any public platform which gives an opportunity to counter the hateful daily mail type "coming here to take our jobs and our houses and benefits blah blah blah" propoganda is very welcome. And so are the refugees..
