Id be well overstepping my bounds if I tried to answer any of that from a Fed/AT perspective.  From their end they have been seeking a dialogue with the Club to address the concerns they have which I think is fair and I have many of the same concerns based on whats come to light.

I dont think it has to end in ST being gone but he seems to me to have contempt for a section of our support just now which is no way to act.  I reckon it's petulant frankly.

For me, I'm wrestling to keep focused on the football which is depressing enough.  See, im 33 years old and this is honestly the first time i've ever really concerned myself with matters off the park.  So I dont think this is a merry go round where this will just keep happening.  There are things I take issue with which I never thought would happen at United to be honest, many of them i'm struggling to get my head around.

What do I want?  managers contract changed to reflect actual results on the park and/OR management team get their marching orders. Chairman to signal his intentions to all supporters with statements backed up by his actions.

I think all these things are fair enough tbh. However, if someone tried to change my contract mid contract I wouldn't be happy. That isn't going to happen

Thompson also made a statement regarding the sale of the 2 players to Celtic and he also made a statement about his intent in Oz. They weren't what a lot of folk wanted to hear but he did the statements.

I really cannot see a way out of this at the moment. It's really fucking depressing

you're dead right like.  Contract wont be changed unless manager consents... no danger of that happening.  Still, as a supporter, finding it hard to let it sit so hopefully he gets the sack because he's a crap manager.

If ST's intentions with United are pure, he should bring someone in from outside the club with a PR background to help him get the message accross.  The optics and messaging coming out the club at the minute are miles away.

He is a crap manager. A dud.

Thompson could do with a PR man. So could the Fed tbh. The rhetoric from day 1 has been all wrong.

You get the impression that it's a bit like a staring contest and tbh I don't think it matters who blinks first. The club will suffer.

Re: TEITR

We've turned into the Scottish equivalent of another team in Tangerine - Blackpool.

If the majority share holding Chairman is not going to sack the (ahem) Manager and his 3 (ahem) coaches and pay them up their contracts to the summer of 2017; and they are not going to budge without this happening, we are all stymied!

A better bet would be to allow the dust to settle, see what the outcome of this Jets thing is and just support the team.  That way no supporters that obviously care passionately about the team, can be held responsible in any way for any more wheels coming off.   If JM can somehow put some results together (not that he looks to me to be able to do anything like that with his baffling team selections and non existent tactics) that would be our best chance of a change, at least in the dugout!  I live in hope!!!
