Re: nike deal

Adidas or Puma pls.

If not, no.

Re: nike deal

Adidas would be best but I'd be happy with Macron who actually show a bit of innovation. Fed up with Nike tbh. Puma would be ok too.

Too much commotion

Re: nike deal

I've been pretty happy with the strips up until this year. Mostly something a bit different...not just the usual badged kits you can see down at  any local park...

Not sure on Adidas - I've sheep pals who say they are poor quality tops. Puma or others who would put effort on would be nice.

Also if a company would give us a stock training gear etc which isn't avec, then that would be even better

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: nike deal

The 'Nike' kits by and large have been dreadful in my opinion. Adidas definitely my preference but the Puma kits of late haven't been too bad.

Re: nike deal

Always loved the Adidas 3 stripes with oor colours home n' away. Biased maybe through good memories of oor progression wearing that brand.

Loved the Hummel shirt with the grey sides.

Nike is a great image but affy safe, pain designs lately that they've offered or we've chosen.
Sometimes the quality of the sponsor print undoes the longterm look. Who's to blame there I'd don't know.

Macron do some cracking innovative shirts for sure. Would love to see us in a rampant lion version of their Lazio Eagle shirt. That would be my wish for an out the box design.

Re: nike deal

Anyone wanting Adidas tops should go into a sports shop and compare them to a Nike top. Difference in quality is shocking ! Adidas stuff is fucking shite ! Ken people are sentimental about Adidas but it's a massive NO fae me

I love watching United on arabzone...

Re: nike deal

The Macron stuff is good quality.

I'd prefer us to do something different as I've asked on a couple of the Poster Q&As.

My personal fave would be to do a Sampdoria type of kit followed by a Blackburn Rovers style one, but in Tangerine and Black obviously.  Safety Orange is a poor man's tangerine!

Re: nike deal

Young lad has a couple of Puma strips and they are absolute garbage.

Re: nike deal

Most modern strips are piss poor quality.

My pal bought the New Balance Celtic gear for his boys...said the strips are terrible quality material wise and they shrunk a bit just in a normal wash.

Adidas strips aren't what they used to be IMO.

Be quite happy to see us stick with Nike tbh.Agree that Macron strips look decent quality.

Liked the few strips Le Coq Sportif made but very much doubt they'd bother with the Scottish market.

Re: nike deal

Bought a few Japan tops over the years (Adidas) and the quality has always been great. Maybe it's the generic Adidas tops that are crap quality? The new Man U top is decent quality wise I thought. Hate the recent Puma kits. The v neck always looks too big and flappy.

Re: nike deal

Would look smart.

Wouldn't mind something with a lot more blak for a change tho, but tbh I don't care too much what they wear.

Re: nike deal

I think we should return to our original colours as DUFC, white and black.

I was looking at all the old kits at some point last year and worked out (if I remember right) that January 2016 would be the month that we had worn a tangerine and black kit for longer than we wore a white and black kit.

Pointless trivia but I still always think of the tangerine as being "new".

I think that's stinking TEK. I've had enough of plain shirts over the last few years. Take it you like Puma?
Never been a Puma fan mate but don't really care too much for the label, looking for something different.

Re: nike deal

Puma are possibly my favourite make of gutties mate, but that's about it.

Just liked that strip and the black panelling with wee tangerine Pumas.Thought it looked quite smart.

Hear what you're saying about wanting something a bit 'different' though. This seasons strip must be the most boring ever.

Re: nike deal

Honkin. Funny how things stick to yer fashion impressions and  ideas onwards bud. Some things stick forever.

Mind you the rival trainers were Adidas kicks..

Re: nike deal

Avec already in club shop in some training + leisurewear.  Maybe already chosen as replacements?  FWIW one of the smartest tips we've ever had was the black with white collar one last season.
