Many thanks Hunted.
The 8th game of Round 1 saw a comeback victory registered by 'Can't Get Out Of Bed' by THE CHARLATANS and it will now as a consequence enter Round 2 as a top seed. And after winning a coin toss it will be joined in the 2nd Round (albeit unseeded) by 'History' by THE VERVE which finished as runner-up (though on the same votes as 3rd place).Eliminated are the unlucky Blur with 'End of a Century' which lost the coin toss and also 'Play it Cool' by Super Furry Animals, which suffered by being put into a 'Group of Death'.

One to another.
I loved Oasis but even then I grew sick of Don't look back in anger very quickly due to the radio airplay it received.

My vote goes to SFA - If You Don't Want Me To Destroy You

Swithered on One to Another which I thought was great at the time but has slipped down in my estimation over the years. But, its got to be 'Don't Look Back in Anger' it was an era defining record.

I was thinking of giving up voting SFA given I seem to be fighting a losing battle.
This looks like it may have a chance so, aye, If You Don't Want Me To Destroy You. Cracking tune.

It's another pretty strong round. Wouldn't skip any of these tracks if they came on shuffle on my iPod

Tough one as all decent but I'll go for Oasis purely for reminiscing purposes, proper takes me back to my teenage years!

Glad to see Blur have had 3 songs so far in it and all have binned straight off. Blur are shite.
