I'd take Stuart McCall.
Would also be happy with Steven Pressley tbh.Strikes me as a 'winner' who takes no shit, and also has a point to prove.

mccall was superb at motherwell but i would like us to try to bring big dunc in as manager just a feeling he might be tempted if job was offered

McCall for a quick fix.
Michael O'Neill, Badger or Jim McIntyre (minus billy Dodds) would be the other options for me

No sure we need a rookie at this time, so that would rule Dunc out for me.
McCall, as you say was brilliant with Motherwell, but no so brilliant at Sevco. Unsure.
Pressley, no sure either. The fact that I don't like him as a person may be clouding my judgement tho.

Would love Mixu, would accept almost anyone if it meant getting rid of the four amigos but would prefer experience.
Badger is at Real Sociedad so doubt he'd jack Donostia for Dundee anyway.
We could do a lot worse than the men in charge at Inverness and St Johnstone, but that would take cash that Thompson probably won't spend.

This.
Mixu is still living down here at Burntisland since managing his national team.

Wouldn't want McCall, JMac had him in his back pocket.
For me I think it has to be Tommy Wright.

Mixu . Pressley. Happy with any of these two . But Jackie isn't going anywhere lads . St will not sack him until we are fighting to stay in the league .

Would be happier if we stayed away from anyone with Celtic connections. Fair or not.

No more died in the wool old firm folk lookin for a step towards their main team.
One thing selling a playing career to an up and coming player but totally different thing with a manager who has to convince his team to spill tangerine blood for US!
No good raving about stepping up to a rival and how good it felt to sign for ra septic/zombie!!!
Stuart McCall and Jon Daly would command respect fae the squad without using us as a stepping stone like we promise players.
Big Dunc and Billy McKinlay have us at heart like Daly and 'hands up' could be a great shout.
Ray McKinnon is a similar gamble to JMac but with more heart for the Tangerine cause.
Best chance would be McCall or Daly when you consider the chances.
Would like Cathro. Especially if we lose Stevie Campbell and JMac.
He wid be 2 in 1 there but never likely.
I'd go for Stuart McCall or Daly.

Have been impressed with the work Michael O'Neill has done at NI but expect he'll want to see things through with them and will probably move on to bigger things.
McCall probably the most likely bet in terms of availability and no compensation to pay but he bailed out of Motherwell quick enough when the going got tough last season so have my doubts he's what we need just now.
Mixu for me.
